Look, everyone complaining about this trailer, like why did it take 50 seconds to get to showing the Muppets, are completely missing the point.

You weren't supposed to watch it for the first time on YouTube. You were supposed to be in a movie theater, watching it with other previews. That's how I first saw it, and I'm thankful for it.

But I love the way Segal and Adams really ham up the drama, just so you know that there has to be some kind of twist coming up. Good use of misdirection, I never would have guessed Muppets would show up if this had just come on in a theatre! By the way, I think that's the back of Rashida Jones' head at 1:03, I heard she was in this one.

He's a newer character. This about the original Muppets reuniting. He just sort of appeared after Jim Henson's death. Instead, they want movie to be about the original "Muppet Show" gang. Pepe doesn't fit with the main plot of this movie.

@VanishPoint That's Walter. He will be responsible for reuniting the Muppets in the movie. He will have an important role, but will still only be a supporting character. The main focus will stay on Kermit and the main original cast, but lots of Muppets, including ones that haven't been seen in years will make appearances in the movie as well as newer characters like Pepe.
