Islam, I believe started earlier. I don't think that Mohammed (peace be upon him) had envisioned a string consort back in the day. I am confused about this music argument and Islam in general. But strings!!! Is there a scholar out there that knows?

@Gaskovichs Well first behave on your language, there are different opinions on that issue, but the most Ulema state that music isn't allowed in islam, they also making a difference between music generaly and music without instruments.

Anas (R.A.) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “There will certainly be people from my Ummah who will attempt to legalize fornication, the wearing of silk (for males), the consuming of wine and the use of musical instruments”

@Gaskovichs Well first i want to ask you something, you are muslim right? The Ulema (The Schoolars of Islam) have most of the time different opinions on a issue. One Alim named Malik (The Maliki Madhab) said clear that Music, or Instruments arent allowed according of the hadith that i wrote before. This is a sahih hadith revealed by buchary, and there are a lot more revealed text from the prophet, sallalahu alihi wa salam, that showes us that this kind of music isn't allowed in islam

Most of the schoolars and ALL 4 big schools are quoting the same statement, may sometimes with small differnces but mostly clear. Well where do you have this myth that the qur'an is originaly in aramaic? Because theres no evidence that is strong.

@Rashied183 sorry, i said it wrong, original Kuran isnt in Aramaic, but they used to speak aramaic more widely than arabian those times, and Kuran is the first book written in Arabic.. How much is it trustable??? Kuran in Aramaic is more trustable, and there is many words seems ''meaningless'' when written in arabic, but they become ''understandable'' when written in aramaic.. And i think i saw this on national geographic..

@Gaskovichs Well you're making here a mistake, arabic, aramaic and hebrew got the same roots but still in the hidjaz they used to talk arabic, and the qur'an is most trustable in his original language.. and how you can say that words in arabic are meaningless. If you dont understand arabic than maybe yess but, with knowledge of the language this argument isn't one. You need to get your wisdom from authentical bases not from national geographics.

@Gaskovichs Well i agree that the verse (in the qur'an) the schoolars take to forbidd music isn't realy clear, but according to this verse and the commentarys of the schoolars, added with sahih hadeeths and teachings of the companions of the prophet (sas) makes a clear statment. Of course it spread love, and i don't say there's just evil comming out of music, but it is like allah tell us that something has good, but the bad side is sometimes bigger.

@zalahudin ich beschefige mich seit 10 Jahen mit dem Islam und praktiziere es auch, kann mich jedoch nicht erinnern jemals in einem Hadith gelesen zu haben, das irgend ein Prophet so ein Scheiss Instrument gespielt haben soll. Kann mich nur an einem Hadith erinnern wo gesagt wird das dies HARAM ist. Außerdem ist mir bei den Sufis aufgefallen das sie KEIN NUR haben. Ich war mal bei denen beim Dhikr als ich damals anfing mit dem Gebet, habe gleich so ein komisches gefühl gehabt. Bin nie wiederhin
