  • i read a book based on this guys life (if this is who i think it is XD) and he lived with a pack of wolfs. cool story

  • 7 months later a female wolf gives birth to a half wolf half man cub...............

  • Hes going to get bit eventually, and when he does, it won't be pretty, cause the wolves will gang up on him.

  • wasn't Unexpected to me

  • I...LOVE...LOOOVVVEEEE Wolves!!

  • wolves are beautiful animal after my favorite the Cheetah :) i wish i could live with this guy for a week.

  • I would love to be able to do what Shaun does, sure there is risk to the job, but wolves are amazing, beautiful creatures that have a bad reputation. Even reading some of the other comments on here I become saddened over how inhuman some people are. Wolves are dying because of humans, other animals are as well, massive amounts of rainforest are disappearing. By the time I have children they won't know what a rainforest or a wolf looks like and that is just depressing.

  • Its funny how the media has gotten people to actually think wild animals are something to be really afraid :D If u live in the wild its still much more likely that some human comes and rapes and kills u just for the fun of it than a wolf attacks u etc. Humans kill humans and animals. Humans know no peace, only greed that comes from the ego. We should learn our roots once more as a part of the nature and become life itself instead of trying to "own life" :) Peace. Learn, know, live :)

  • @Skittywolf Actually, wild animals are damn dangerous. They're predators and will surplus kill. They also have deadly infectious diseases. A human won't kill another human for the lulzy, unless their the deranged mental patient that escaped rehab. As for rape, I think that some super-hot teen model is more viable than a hobo in the woods for rape. Look at all the incidences where there had been a fatal attack from wolves. And peace will NEVER happen. Tranquility on ALL sides? I call bull.

  • @WarriorcatsShadowfur You watch too much Television kid. :)

  • @Skittywolf Actually, I haven't watched any television apart from the news, National Geographic, Animal Planet, and Discovery since I was 11. Even before the only 'kid' television I used to watch was Spongebob, The Fairly Odd Parents, Playhouse Disney, the Power-Puff Girls, The Legend of the Hidden Temple. So please explain your assumption.

I do believe that someone would rather risk going to jail for raping a hot chick then an ugly fuck.

  • @WarriorcatsShadowfur

Actually, human beings are damn dangerous. They're predators and will surplus kill. They also have deadly infections diseases. A wolf won't kill another wolf for the lulzy, unless they're threatened or hurt.

All that you said about wolves is true for humans as well. Humans carry deadly diseases, and to many animals, they are bloody dangerous.

  • tamaska is a bad ass

  • I wanna live with them!

  • Wow this is dangerous, unless they have accepted him someway as a part of the pack.I would prefer wolves free in their natural enviroment though and human spieces not messing around expanding and destroying the entire ecosystem.

  • hes not being the pack leader which means he is in a dangrous position.

  • @lj7471 Yea cuz being a pack leader among a pack of wild wolves is very easy to do. He is no where near the pack leader, but they do trust him. Watch some of his other vids.

  • @pawrestling1

in that case no animals apart from the animals we eat should exist? Animals are beautiful things and they deserve to live!

  • This makes me want to go and play wolf quest if you love wolves go and check out the web site its - wolfquest. com

look at its if really really fun trust me!!!

  • I would die to meet this man! He is my idol and I can not wait until I can go to scotland to see this place. That will be the day that I can officially say that I've lived a full life lol I would be honored to work with him(:

  • "Hopefully I'll come back before the end of the show" is right.

  • @pawrestling1 It makes me absolutely livid when I see comments like this because what people don't understand is that wolves killing for SURVIVAL is part of the natural order. When predators kill prey, the population of the prey item declines, and therefore, so will the predatory population. After the predatory population declines, then the prey's population will start to rise again and so on and so forth. Nature will keep itself balanced if humans stop getting in the way.

  • @vampirewerewolf0 i agree with u! NAtures knows exactly what to do, ALL THE TIME! Humans not!

  • @vampirewerewolf0 Surplus killing. Predators do it. That includes wolves. But yes, the up-down motion of the predator-prey populations is quite true.

  • @pawrestling1And another thing, humans hunt elk for show, not for survival, so should all people who hunt elk be killed? No. Granted, I know that many people do eat the meat so I'm not trying to lump all hunters together as horrible people. But if the elk population in your area is so low as it is, then postponing the hunting of elk would help to increase the population. And as said before, if the prey source declines then the predators eventually will too because many will starve.

  • @pawrestling1 There are other options such as rescue and relocation programs that can be used. Honestly, the good thing about wolves or any predator is that they keep many populations in check. Also, if wolves were gone then the elk population would explode and get out of control as well as the populations of their other prey items. This population boom would also create problems for the plants that they graze on, making their numbers fall again. Read a book about it, you might learn something.

  • @pawrestling1 are u idiot or what??? wolves are almost extincted! u've to shut up and know better the all thing behind -.-''

  • @pawrestling1

It's people like you that REALLY make me lose my faith in humanity. Unlike MOST human hunters, animal predators kill for survival. They need to hunt and kill to eat and survive. If you think that wolves are bad just look at humans. We raise animals just to slaughter them for food. At least when wolves hunt elk and such the prey does have a chance to escape. With us? Not so much. Pigs, cows, and ect have no chance to escape their fate.

  • @GemSola Animals surplus kill, just like humans. Poachers are the issue, hunters hunt and use the body. Bushmeat is an example. Wolves aren't bad, but they're not amazing. They're animals, like the rest of us. Humans use slaughterhouses because without them, then people would end up killing off all the prey population, and then turn to the predators for food. I hate it as much as the next guy, but the only way to stop it is to massacre tons of humans.

  • @pawrestling1 WHAT?? Kill ALL WOLVES?!?! Your out of your mind if you think they have no purpose in the world they are magnificent creatures and deserve respect

  • i can't find my balls

  • i have this mans book and i highly recommend it!!!! its called "The Man Who Lives With Wolves" it tells all about his life and what was going on during filming all of this. I have been studying wolf behavior since i was ten and this book REALLY told me some stuff i never knew wolves did. so yeah great man great book and great wolves ^^

  • Seems like an educated man not trying to enter the wolves territory in the wild, but rehabilitating wolves, hope he doesn't get Tredwelled

  • @shawns9898

Lol. Yeah, I forgot about getting "Tredwelled." That guy was nuts.

  • Comment removed

  • wouldn't you put your self between your woman ( pregnant in this case ) and a dude who came in your house messing things up!?

its in all of us...specially males

  • the black wolf is bad ass

  • Bova, thats what he is working towards, hopefuly one day we will live all in peace!!!

  • Wolves will always be a wild animal no matter how much work you do with them. This man respects his pack and I love what he is doing with them. I believe it's very much worth the risk and I hope he can teach people more about these amazing animals.

  • they are beautiful animals (i think) :D

  • @hunterjumper9799 you don't have to THINK to know that these are amazing, beautiful animals.

  • @dustymew i said (i think) so that people would know that it was my oppinion. i know they are beautiful, but not everyone agrees ya know?

  • @dustymew That's an opinion. I don't think that they're majestic, beautiful, noble or amazing. No they're canines. Big, dangerous canines that harm livestock.

  • @hunterjumper9799 They really, really are... ;) It disgusts me to see people hunt them.

  • @Kyuubi1161 me too. i personally am not a fan in the sport of killing animals for NO reason. its different if they attacking you, have dieases, are harming your pets or property, and etc. i understand peope hunt deer for their meat, sport, heads and antlers, and also because deer seem to overpopulate a lot. but when it comes to hunting wolves, and we dont eat wolves, and we only hunt them for sport and fur, i just feel thats wrong. but hey, thats just MY OPPINION.

  • @hunterjumper9799 they are we breed over in russia my fmily owns a farm and we have a wolf miska shes a alpha female worse than a male

  • crabtrap - That's the is his role in the pack and he did admit he could have done it differently but read the signs wrong. The guy is an expert not some random hippy and he is putting his life on the line and has lost so much in order that people might learn and that not only captives can be released and survive among wild born, but so wolves can be reintroduced to their native homelands.

  • @whobedo2 His life isnt on the line ...these animals are basically wild dogs.....they take to humans quite well......the only time he may be in danger is if they are hungry

  • Oh don't be such an idiot they are very much still wolves, they are still pack animals and have lost almost non was what there would be in the wild and if he wasn't careful they could easily kill the man.

As a further note he really did put his life on the line when he spent two whole years living with a completely wild wolf pack so that intellectually bankrupt smart alics like you could learn a thing or two.

  • Let the wolves alone! Release the chains and set them free, they are amazing, beautyfull, strong creatures of nature. When will humans learn to live among them and let them alone?

  • @Bova1812 People like you are delusional. The entire reason the wolf species is in danger is because they are free, setting animals free isn't a solution. Wolves don't just hunt, they have to learn how, they need to learn how to live, and the wolves he's raising don't know how. So he's teaching them. humans will never live beside the wolf because we are too ignorant and stupid. People like yourself are part of the problem.

  • @fezants Woves are not inherently dangerous......they kill when they need to eat.....this guy exaggerates and alarms people to make it look like he is a hero......wolves are basically friendly animals

  • Your probably right, but instinct tells them to be wary of Man.Long live the Wolves.

  • wow i love what this guy does

  • Wait so this guy goes in a cage of wolfs and wrestles between them playful? and that was a mistake cause one of the males was being very protective cause his female was pregnant? This guys gots some balls to do that.

  • He lived with a pack in the Rocky mountains for about 18 months, with no human comforts at all apart from thick clothing. His meals were what the pack allowed him, consumed raw, very often regurgitated by one of the providers. Nice. Yes, he's got balls all right. Big ones.

  • @BloodyFlesh626 LOL he does. O_O

  • @BloodyFlesh626 Balls, but brains are more important. He knows what he's doing.

  • @Black7Cloud I know he knows what hes doing. Im just saying it takes alot to do that. If he didnt have brains they wouldnt let him be apart of the pack.

  • @BloodyFlesh626 i watched the series when it was on hes actually reall crazy and his wife had to let one of the wolves nibble on her neck without pulling away

  • @BloodyFlesh626 thats cause he raised the wolves, he knows them very welll lol

  • @TheJustineWho Plz i heave herd that endless times. He has never tamed them so they are still wild.

  • @slize10 ohhh ok. sorry

  • I would want to someday do what this guy did.

  • well i think what he does is amazing could any of u even try to do what he has?

  • I would try to do it. To live among the wolves would be awsome.

  • i luv this vid

  • I think that most of you do not know that there is a very limited wild space for wild animals left on earth. When it comes to predators like wolves, if there are too many of them in one place, there wouldn't be enough food for all.

In these cases, you either let them die from hunger, or cage them - as long as the space is large enough - 20 hectares or so.

  • Yeah, I'd be pissed too if a wolf tried to lead my human pack. This guy is ridiculous, just leave them alone.

  • yeah, why they take these wolf away from therers real life, ut them in a cach?

I think thats really stupied, but if fro example they are tryiing to save an animal from dieing out, then it's ok, to breed them and make more of them. But haveing wolfs in cachs, that's stupied, terhes tons of them all over the world.

  • he is trying to help wolves born in captivity become able to live on their own in the wild, i believe...

  • fucking bullshit exploiting the wolves to get his fat ass famous they would be perfectly fiine if they where released into a national park this guys just like that grizzly guy another dipshit fucking with nature your a man not a wolf them wolves have more patiencethan i do that guyd feed the pack for a couple days

  • U suck for saying that. He's just trying to help them.

  • when you lean how to talk properly come back...otherwise take a hike

  • im just saying it happens all the time man gets his arrogant nose stuck up natures ass and he gets whats coming to him, release the wolves back into the wild why dont they work towards that? no its all about money the tv show puts the bacon on his table and the kibble in the wolf bowl.

  • @jeffs657000 ;; is it bad for wolfs and humans to live as one, or any animal at that, since we are animals our selfs... dont people talk and pet their dogs, and love them... whats the difference with a wolf... he loves them... ?

  • i know we have to coexist with animals and more habitat should be set aside for them, if the proceeds of this show went to buying themland i wouldnt bebitching ,he has no right to deprive them of being wild .thats what they are.wild wolves u think there happy no purpose in there lives u think they care about tv shows?

  • @jeffs657000 ;; i agree with you on that of course, but a) HE is not keeping them from the wild, he works for the wild life park, and i think its good and aamzing to see someone so passionate and loving of wolves be in charge of that part of the park... b) obviously he made his share of money, but from the looks of it, he spends all of his time & money for him and the wolves..

  • @jeffs657000 ;; also this shows stupid humans, that wolves are not aggressive just misunderstood and scared of us, because of the stupid damage weve done to THEIR home, and the slaughter we have made of their kind, for stupidity, same with sharks and other "man eating animals"... i think this shows, that if you are loving and nice to an animal, he'll return it, and they DO feel love and respect, not just see you as a tastii meal

  • @jeffs657000 they werent wild in the first place, he is doing this so he can bring wolves born into captivity into the wild, the tv show was hardly his motivation

  • @jeffs657000 If you were educated about this mater at all, you would know that if the pups were abandoned at birth, they would not "be perfectly fine if they were released into a national park". What Sean is doing is ultimately preparing them for release into the wild. He has a life beyond the wolves, but he is just doing what he is passionate about and is trying to get a better life for the animals. And another thing, if you want people to take you seriously when you troll, learn how to spell.

  • aw ZOO is such a fucking shit there were abusing the animals wild animals should live in the wild/wild jungle.not in that stupid ZOO

  • @twik1994 Unfortunately, these animals were probably either born in captivity, or rescued from the pet trade. If this is the case, then they could not be released into the wild because they are too dependent on humans for survival.

  • can you please post the episodes here, i can't see them on my tv cause animal planet moved to on extra cable and i can't afford it...

  • i love this guy. he is so down to earth and is so passionate about what he does. met him at the animal park he lives in with the wolf pack :]

  • no he didnt get bit.

  • so did he get bitten?

  • soo wait he got bitten?

  • might be a lil scary but i'd take my chances with wolves b4 tigers

  • lol so true id rather have 6 wolves around me than tiger slol

  • I think i'd rather have the tiger. It's easier to fight off one animal than six.

  • Yeah. Tigers Dont confront face to face though. they stalk and pounce

  • you can close those adds theres an x on he up right corner

  • if youtube stopped the ads it would become more bankrupt then it already is, just because you find it annoying clicking a cross in the corner won't influence anything

  • what about the video ads that you CAN'T exit out of...

  • well they're new...

  • and REALLY fucking annoying.... those should be done with...

  • yep that was crossing the line somewhat lol

  • press F5 and it skips ads

  • Thanks good one

  • thanks!

  • @zaka44

Just hit the "reload" on your browser and it usually restarts the vid without the stupid add.

  • theres a breed of canine called the wolf dog, it ressembles a wolf and is 25% wolf, howver its safe and 100% domesticated, chek it out. wolf dog hybrid

  • For tEkToNIK - I'm not 100% sure but I think they are called Tamarin monkeys

  • what is the name of the type of monkey at 0:10?? please let me know

  • looks like a howler monkey to me, same face and fur :)

  • It's a cotton top tamarin

  • Howler Monkey

  • For tEkToNIK - I'm not 100% sure but I think they are called Monglian rattlesnakes

  • Comment removed

  • you cease to understand they were bred in captivity....

  • Are you kidding me? he submits! To the wolves, he is but a peon!

  • What does that make you? A drone to the human hive?

  • Considering I have a small pack of wolf mixes myself. (one 50%, and one 25%) The only way to truly earn their respect is to become their alpha.

What if Shaun messes up? The alpha of the pack might discipline him. What might be a shock or a warning to the other wolves might kill Shaun, He doesnt have fur to deflect teeth so it takes less effort to cause more damage.

Take it from an animal behaviorist ;) Its risky taking the omega position

  • Good point. Sorry about my comment.

  • No problem. Im not talking down to you, Just sharing information.

I respect Shaun for what he is doing. His methods are just risky is all.

  • I never thought I'd see a meaningful discussion in Youtube comments. Thank you!

  • With all the Trolls, Flamers, Spammers, and the all 'round bored of life no good doers, why stoop down to that level?

    Thank you by the way.

  • I've always wanted to personnally own a wolf. I'm moving abroad soon, I have my own farm and for some strange reason, always wanted to own a white wolf there.

Yes, I know... There not exsactly the "dog" type, but I heard if you take it from a few generations of being with humans, they grow to feel scared from humans, just like dogs.

    Is that true?

  • It can be as little as the first generation. If pups dont have personal positive experience, or see their mothers have a positive human encounter, they most likely will be hesitant, and reluctant to approach any human.Their are many wolf rescue organizations in the US, I suggest talking to them on their adoption availability. Both of mine were owner surrenders. They were not prepared and could not handle the energy the pups have.

If you want to bring a wolf into your home please do the research first

  • Make sure that if you own a farm you keep that wolf in a cage. They can kill livestock with very little effort. Generally speaking, wolves and farms or ranches do not mix well.

  • O, by farm I ment I've (or we've) built a villa in the middle of an ex-farm used land. The whole farm will be redesigned into a Garden.

How to wolves respond to be tied up? Like a dog? Or react?...

Is it safe to take a wolf out into the puplic? Like city areas?

  • cubeluda do you not get that they are nothing like dogs? they arent friendly loving and domestic towrads humans the way dogs are, u have to be dominant to a wolf if u expect it to listen to you and a wolf will still have the call of the hunt deep within them, hence not making the best pets.

do yourself a favour and get a malamute or husky-they look like wolves,,,ish but arent burdened with the challenges of owning one.

  • Yeah, I withnessed one, forget that. I'm looking more towards a German Sheperd or a mix bread of Wolf and Husky.

  • I'll e getting a wolf hybrid too XD. Two of them actually.

  • Yeah, I got two German Sheps :)

  • Beautiful dogs. You training them right I hope =].

  • Oh GOD you're right about that!!

Most of the time, it's just SO wearying to see people stupidly attacking each other, their points completely lost in the fray.

It's great to see people being respectful to each other for once on Youtube.

"So shines a Good Deed in a weary world..."

    Well done guys!

You've helped restore some little belief in humanity.

  • i wonder what a wolf crossed with a yorkshire terrier would look like

  • alot of these guys who try to live with animals seem abit strange and deluded, like the old guy who lives with bears. But Shaun really seems like he knows what he's doing and most of all, you can tell he has nothing but respect for the animals.

  • why are they killing them?

    i dont get it.

    how could they do that?

  • ya white people are all fucking around with animals just like all you black punks use guns and gangs to fight bunch of pussies... those guys have more balls than you would ever have

its black people like you that makes white people racist

  • shut the fuck up, white people have gangs too. You people are crazier than we are. Its white people like you that make us not like you.

  • That was really mean i really think you should get lost!

  • im not racist and i said it because the person above my comment made a stupid comment about white people

  • well dont make racist statements please because it can never help a situation if you see one of us acting ignorant and falling into a stereotype then just ignore them

  • Comment removed

  • i love wolves :)

  • i have a wolf no lie

  • sweet.

  • I think you mean you have a Alaskan husky

  • lol well with all honestly i do have an alaskan husky but i do work at a shelter for wolves and i help take care of a small 4 wolf pack but i in no way own them

  • Too bad you're not smart enough to spell correctly.

  • What*

  • I'm not a vegetarian. I love animals. I believe in the natural order. A lion is plenty smart. They're digestive system *requires* meat. If not for them, the gazelle populations would get out of control and they would all starve because the grass wouldn't regrow in time to feed them all. It's called the circle of life. I am hardly any different from a wolf. I don't think of my self as any better. My body is designed to eat both meat and plants, so I do. It's called nature, deal with it.

  • poetic man

  • Animals are just like us, except we are smarter. Our base being is an animal. The New Testament tries to turn God into a Man and Man into a God, however that is not true. We are creatures of God just like Jesus who was a man (animal). Every animal including ourselves have souls. Every one of us feels love, hurt, pain, hate, anger, etc. Once people learn this, they will stop being so ignorant.

  • agreed =)

I hope more people try to do things like Shaun up there, taking a humble position and learning about animals on their terms (as opposed to in a laboratory and such). But one has to be smart about it, they are still dangerous. That doesn't mean they're bad though, they just have to be respected instead of encaged and shot.

  • I'm not a believer in 'God' per say, but to me, those are some of the wisest & most welcome words I've seen on this Colosseum called Youtube.

Well done man. Very well said.

  • rip your fucking head off.

  • free willy!

  • 130 lbs thought they were more, hmm my dog weighs 76lbs more than the wolves.

  • Yeah they're mostly just pack animals and rely on numbers, not as burly as some dog breeds

  • wolves are still wild animals... i personly love the wolf and would do everything in my power to protect the speices. but if cattle people are going around shooting them sooner or later it wont be just depopulating. it will be complete genocide (i dont fucking care if people hate me for the things i say. because im just giving my opinion so shut up haters)

  • f3nr- No one hates you for wanting to protect the wolves. Depredations will continue as long as the Federal Gov't wolves trespass onto private property and kill livestock. When released wolves kill livestock, it infringes on our constitutional rights and then they must be shot.I don't know of cattle producers going around shooting wolves on public land.

Genocide is the deliberate and systematic
