The thing Fox wanted was for the plane to burst into flame and crash into an Obama bus full of crippled undocumented Latinos driven by Barney Frank.

Whats the big deal? I know how hard this is! Being a pilot, you are briefed on it, and you hope you never have to practice it! I have been in a plane with this problem, a 777 at CDG in France. Lets stick you, spartanphalaynx, in a small plane, fill up your tanks, rip off the front gear, and see how you fair. What balls you must have, or none at all!
Save the props, funny. The moment he declared the plane belong to the insurance co. If the props touch the ground the engine must be inspected. That's true enough but he wont pay anything other than the deductible.

Very nice landing, considering the situation. I doubt that anyone could do any better. Kudos to the pilot for keeping cool and having a steady hand.
