I must admit this phone is more for me and my wife than it is for my daughter. All the kids on here that are saying what a joke this phone is, is missing the point completely. I could care less about how cool or uncool this device is. I know it has no texting features, video camera, mp3 player and such on it. That's exactly why I bought it. This is just a tool that allows me to keep in touch in case of emergencies. NOT for texting friends and looking cool at 10 years old.

You guys are so stupid sometimes. The firefly is for parents who want their children mainly younger children to have a phone for contact when they aren't home. It's very nice. Also Firefly now has a new phone called the flyphone and it does everything a regular cell will do with parental controls. The glowPhone (which he is showing off) is for younger children. The flyPhone if for the older children.

I purchased an unlocked version a couple of weeks ago on a close-out deal website for $5. I'm thinking of dumping my Blackberry and going Firefly all the way. When I'm in meetings at work and they ask me to make a call, as long as who I need to call is in my Mommy or Daddy button, I'm good to go. I'll probably be promoted to top management, thanks to my Firefly.
