And waering this heads are forbidden in german since 2001. Thats to "Ubercool". It is better to hear music like this, thats ok for 20+ people. But for me it is covered 80s Europe Stuff.

I think the problem is tht ppl nowadays are into the more mainstream music like pop, rap or shitty rock bands and theyre used to that so that's why i think they can see how perfect this band is. Do NOT be fooled by these poorly recorded vids on youtube! Interpol is FANTASTIC live. Just saw them a few days ago in Dallas. I've never heard them sound better than they did right in person. Was wishing for more variety in their setlist, although their choice to stick heavily to Antics wasn't regrettable in the least.

Didn't see Lighthouse coming, given their choice to avoid Turn on the Bright Lights and OLTA. An all-around excellent performance.

I agree. I hate it when people think its like some kind of sin to sound like Joy Division. Its not like JD can write new songs. Thank God for Interpol, Editors, White Lies and all others in that genre because I can never get tired of listening to them.

my only problem with Interpol and te other Joy Division- indebted bands is that when JD came out the had such a unique sound and now a bunch of grups basically stole their style. so in my opinion JD is better than Interpol the way the Pixies are better than nirvana, but interpol have done a good job of expanding on the JD sound and finding their own voice

Yes I understand that JD had a unique sound and they are the original creators of this style of music, but unfortunately they don't exist anymore. Same thing with Nirvana. So we have no choice to move on and give it up to Interpol and the others that have kept the style alive.
