the last v6 i helped convert didnt have those problem when the 3.75 rearend was swaped with the driveshaft. considering they base their vehicles off a modular design. Give it some time and well if we still have gas to power vehicles the will be worth something. They didnt think the 67 and 68 gt500's would be worth anything back in the day. My dad held on to his and its worth some money.

@frodo70444 Not much actually I own one. You would need the harness, ecu, motor, and tranny. Get it from a totaled lightning. To take a running lightning with a limited production number not only kills it value,..but its plain stupid. They should have used a v6 body. You forgot to add the custom fiberglass moldings ect.
@grinch96ek and u forgot about custom driveshaft rear end engine and tranny mounts i really dont think the lightning is going to be a a real collectible anyway there will be a few people but want them but its is just a f150 with a supercharged 5.4l and a different tune on it it isnt like it was a numbers matching boss 302 mustang or a numbers matching yenko camaro its a just late model supercharged f150

BTW, I have 140K on my 2003 Harley truck, pushing about 15#'s of boost for over 70K of that. I haven't had any issues, and I'm on the stock internals. It's all in the tune, and staying on top of regular maintenance.
f150s are very reliable. my 2002 sport edition 4.6l v8 has 130k miles on it and drives brand new still. however i would not buy a lightning if u worry about gas lol.
U can straight up tell this truck use to be a Harley.. All they did was a cam swap nd I should know cuz I have a Harley 2
