  • My brother and I had these as kids. Yes, we had the Bride of Frankenstein one, so it was on the market in the 1960's in Indiana.

  • Wow, gotta love seeing these again!!! my bro and I made most of the 13 monsters, but Godzilla made w/glow-in-the-dark pieces at age 5 was too scary for me at bedtime. lol after a week it was okay...Wish we still had 'em!!! wow, 44yrs ago they were $1.25 ea. back then... ;)

  • Terrific show. Thanks for sharing.

  • Had some of these as a kid. Great fun. It is nice to see them again. Thanks.

  • Thanks for the putty recommendation..

    I ♥ monsters!

  • I still have my Godzilla model minus the base and box which got lost several years ago,but he is still holding up nicely considering the age of the kit.

  • Putty? Back then I just used white glue to build them up. I remember that green Godzilla. The original Japanese version was supposed to be dark gray.

  • he say kk came out in 64 but wasnt it 1933?

  • he means the model kit.

  • @grimlock2008 I think he was referring to original release of the mode kit

  • Oh I remember these models...always sold in the Famous Monsters and Fangoria mags. Great stuff.

  • Putty? What do you use? Dry brushing? What do you mean? Brushing paint instead of air brushing?
