Torres is overrated. He's not that great of a striker he's just a magnificent finisher, when you watch his goals you would notice that they always come from crosses or direct balls. The effort he puts in is lesser compared to other strikers who really works hard for them to get past opponents, but this guy just waits for the ball.
Torres aged 27 years old can't even score at Chelsea, he's had 8 premier league starts/games to do so and still no goal. When Shevchenko aged 30 joined Chelsea in the summer of 2006, he scored 14 goals in all competitions and 12 league assists in the 2006/07 season. At least Shevchenko scored for Chelsea. So far Chelsea haven't seen Torres score a single goal.

Torres is overrated. He's not that great of a striker he's just a magnificent finisher, when you watch his goals you would notice that they always come from crosses or direct balls. The effort he puts in is lesser compared to other strikers who really works hard for them to get past opponents, but this guy just waits for the ball.

Torres aged 27 years old can't even score at Chelsea, he's had 8 premier league starts/games to do so and still no goal. When Shevchenko aged 30 joined Chelsea in the summer of 2006, he scored 14 goals in all competitions and 12 league assists in the 2006/07 season. At least Shevchenko scored for Chelsea. So far Chelsea haven't seen Torres score a single goal.

Torres please score a goal at Chelsea. I know he's only played 6 league games so far and goals will eventually come. But next season Torres will be Chelsea first choice striker as Drogba and Anelka might not be here. I believe in Torres that he will come good.

@reinohispanico I guess you know more than all the ex players, managers and pundits that are saying that Nando will be back to his best next season. The kid needs a full pre season and he will be on top form again. LFC staff medical staff said recently that Torres' pace, endurance and agility are at the same levels as '07, he is just exhausted and he'll be like a new player next year. Can a player not have a bad season, he has never had one in the Premier League, it does happen.

@reinohispanico Even if Torres were to be 'finished' as some of the 'experts' on Youtube are claiming, he has achieved more in his career than most players. I am a Liverpool fan and I am sick that he went to Chelsea but do you really think in this day and age of sports science that he wouldn't have been subjected to the strictest medical tests before Chelsea signed him. He had a good season at Liverpool in 09/10, he was basically carrying the team with SG. Kaka is still a world class player dude

@bluemoonmanchester What Liverpool should be worried about relegation next season? With the right signings, I am sure we can get in the top four. I love Nando, he is my favorite modern day footballer and even though he is playing for Chelsea, I wish him well. Manchester City have some of the best fans in the country but with all that money, it's hardly a achievement to finish in the Champions League places but I do think that Mancini is a superb coach.

@johnny67448 Thanks, but to be honest, Sheikh bought this club rather than Liverpool or United, because he know it doesn't only take money to accomplish big, it takes good pationate team and fans too ;P And it can only be done in City and coach Mancini, I can't see anyteam if time reversed and sheikh bought other team, I really can't see them successing. @bluemoonmanchester The City fans were amazing during the FA Cup semi final, it was a terrific atmosphere at Wembley that day. I agree with you on Carroll, it was a panic buy and a ludicrous fee and I really didn't understand the logic when people said that he is a better player than Nando because Carroll scored for his new club before Torres scored for Chelsea. I would be shocked if City payed £150m for Ronaldo, that would just be astounding. Kelly has impressed me every time I have seen him.
