The marines need to work a LOT harder!. Its so humiliating for the british public not being able to win a desisive victory against a "THIRD WORLD" rusty gun and sandles platoon in afganistan! The lads have the best technology and the help of American forces, 5 long years and still no final victory in site!. It can not get any more SHAMEFULL and HUMILIATING than that now can it???

It looks like a gasplug problem, bad ammo or even just a jam because its fired so many rounds in those condishions

.50cal hmg doesnt have gas parts! it runs off the blowback off the round thts why its got quite a slow chug chug chug...compare to say a gpmg which is quite rapid....like muja said its probly a problem with the link or it needs a good oil...dont forget when we out there we used the weapons almost constantly and its very dusty! probly the biggest problem was the dust
