  • Where is the guitar plugged in?

  • @slpplexi1969

Look closely at the mic cable drapedover the amp head and you will see the guitar cable plugged into input 1 of the normal channel.

  • This cab has a scary face! Nice playing. Awful backing track.

  • Would you recommend the Screamin Eagles?

    Thanks

  • Yup. Good articulation with clean bottom and bright top-end. Great for Blues or R&R, Classic ROck.

  • Thank you, that info is very helpful.

  • 5 stars here,, man what nice sounds. so sweet

  • Nothin like a little synth blues to chill down to after the work day...

  • true, except not centered. pointed at the outter rim of teh speaker. said so in class. idk

  • what guitar did you use.

  • Hi diablo9333,

I used a Gibson LP Special SL with Dimarzio ToneZone in Bridge and Virtual PAF in the Neck wired Peter Green (1959).

  • is this for sale?

  • Thanks for the tip. I'll try that my next go-around. Again..Thanks.

  • @drfdfe what that guy said is not really all that true. Look at most professional studios, they put a mic DIRECTLY in front of the speaker. Your mic may not be positioned perfectly but its not completely WRONG. If anything try getting a small stand and messing around with placement of the mic on the cone.

  • not bad, but a bit cheezy

  • good music. the drums should sound as good.

  • dont you have to be plugged into the amp to play it??

  • Look a little closer. The mic cable runs right next to the Normal channel inout 1.

    UncleD :-)

  • ahh now i saw it:)

  • I had one with two celestion pre rolla speakers. haven't been able to come close to that sound :(

  • Uncle D-

Is that the original cab? Sure looks like one of those modern ported-front designs to me!

  • Dear pinholedstars,

    GOOD EYES!

That is NOT the original CAB. That cab was a Peavey 2-12 with 12" Scorpions. Those guys really needed a lot of power to get a decent sound. The baffle came from the old broken Fender Cab and was "reworked" for the port. The Eminence Screaming Eagles really make the cab sing.
