@onlyrock1 No, the Direct-Injection engines are an option, and they have a "3.6 Direct Injection" badge on the left of the trunk. It gives the car a total of 304HP. Mine, the base engine, has 268. Still not bad though! ;3
is this a good car for high school??? cuz im going to get a car already and im thinking about this one. And also is 6.4 sec fast from 0 to 60 or no??????
@MrAlternation If you have the money to get a 2008 Cadillac CTS in High School...well I still wouldn't suggest it. You're gonna have student loans for college or other bills to pay, and I really don't suggest getting an expensive car at the high school level. If you can afford it, power to you, but also remember that high schoolers are idiots and will probably try and destroy it or break into it.
And 0-60 in 6.4 is pretty quick for a base-model midsize luxury car.
@KatsukiLennox well there is a 2004 that im looking at for about 7000$. and my parents are fine with it......cuz i was going to get a mustang but we never found a good deal on one. so i stated to look at different cars and i found this one and fell in love with it. and i kinda like it more than the mustang :)
@MrAlternation I'd be weary of a 2004 CTS for only $7,000. They're worth a lot more than that. Even the Private Party Value of a 2004 CTS base model with no options, is about $10,000. And it only goes up from there. If a mechanic checks it out and it's in great condition both cosmetically and mechanically, then go for it! But there could be hidden problems. I got a 2002 Dodge Intrepid for $5k a few years ago, transmission AND engine went on it. So be careful and good luck! =)
@MrAlternation I agree with KatsukieLennox, I mean, my 2003 cost me 9660, and thats not even Blue Book price. KBB is about 12,000. There might be something wrong, I'd have a technician give it a look.
I think these are all DI....

how do you like IT?
lancer7610 7 months ago
@lancer7610 Absolutely love it. Just wish it was AWD, a coupe, and/or a 6-speed manual. Unfortunately, I have none of that. XD;

how can you tell if its DI or SFI? stupid question but just wondering.
GTOXJ 8 months ago
@GTOXJ The DI (Direct-Injection) models have "3.6L Direct-Injection" badging on the back.

Transmission is a bit lazy. Slow shifts for a newer gearbox.

@LawrenceLouie Maybe. Still pretty quick though! :3
