  • the helicopter isnt always the best, but if fishing on a soft bottomd lake it is very good as it stops the rig and bait from being dragged into the silt. its also gud for avoiding tangles. matt rings me for tips quite regularly cus im the shizzle

  • y is he so good lol

  • i use inline also

  • is the helicopter rig always the best or can u use other ways to please reply, thnks allreay

  • iam going to try it out on saturday mayt, i'll let you know how i do .

  • lool 4:38 ARGOS lorry drives past

  • lmfao

  • I thing a helicopter Rig with leadcore and a Flying- Back-Lead is better than his rig.

  • that is a brilliant tip with moving the bead in heavy silt or mud areas. As easy as that tip is i really didnt consider that. It makes so much sense imagine how much time ive spent with my bait buried lol dam it!

  • what i mean is the first rig on the previous video the hooklink cannot come free from the leadcore leader, only the lead can. Yet thats very carp safe? i dont agree. The helicopter however the hooklink comes completely free from the leacore and lead regardless and not much pressure needed either. New hooks coated in tef last forever in water! so saying the hook will rot on the first rig so the carp wont tow a leader long is void. I dunno i love learning. :o) So much more to see :O)))

  • hooks can still rot i use esp hooks for that reason that eventually the rot

  • The while thing will come of the leader and the carp wont teather up so its very carp safe, yet the first rig on the previos video, the lead comes of yes but the carp still takes the leader regardless as thats attached to the leadcore and cant come off yet thats very carp safe to?. Its so hard to learn and im not even nearly there yet. This is great viewing! He knows shit loads :o) and dont laugh all the time like john wilson. :oD

  • Matt hayes is brilling. However im still learning and dont understand how on a normal bolt rig the lead coming out is of any use as the carp drags the leadcore regardless. Helicopter rigs are much better then the first one. Matt is brilliant and if your learning like me then theres no better man to watch. Micks cool to :op \o

  • matt hayes is mint i love carp fishing

  • can you only use a pop up or floating bait with a helicopter rig then?

  • Yep you can but im not so sure its as nicely presented as with other rigs. Perhaps your better looking at other replies but i think a pop up with a heli is usable yes.

  • he says use a boyant or semi, boyant meaning pop up so yes.

  • show us some real fishing man! i wanna see some action from the best carp man.

  • That tf gear tshirt has got to be one of the worst piece of clothing I've seen in a long time lol

    Good video thoe

  • matt hayes top man very good for everything carp fishing also saves £ on expensive dvds

  • ahh matt hayes we love you! hes great
