Yes, Jay definitely struggled during this set. But, go the channel of FIVEALEX2009 and look at him in the 80s. He developed into becoming, literally, the hottest stand-up comic in the country, 10 years before Johnny quit. No, he could never fill Johnny's shoes on that show. But Johnny, as a pure stand-up, couldn't match Leno at Leno's zenith. I know what I am saying, and NOBODY loved Johnny more than I did.
