I've heard of Blue whales, but this is f**king ridiculous. Hollywood LOVES to get the WORST looking black women and try to portray that as the 'NORM'.

We can't have anyone to threaten the white womens' pedestal.

This was a horrible movie I liked the story,but didn't like how he went about making the movie.Someone else probably could've done a way better job with this movie.

I believe Gabourey has a beautiful sprit! I wish size wasn't such an issue in any area of life. However, if beauty and size was important, Megan Fox, Pairs Hilton and Nicole Ritchie would have won a best actress Oscar years ago.

Size in this case is important but solely because her health is at stake. She should lose weight not for career or beauty purposes, but solely due to health reasons.

I agree, but my point was stating the importance of inner beauty, which is the spirit of a person! However, for Gabourey to prevent any health issues, she should lose a bit of weight.

@17sunnyhour i know, people are inimidated by overweight people who actually like they're bodies and aren't despressed. They think that they want to be skinny when in reality its awesome being fat but sadly there are health negatives that go along with it :( society looks down upon the overweight
