Yeah, I seen those mods a while back and modded my V-6 with them. I sanded the center-edges (the ones that pop) at a angle like his video and scraped down the corners a little (because they catch). It helps for sure, but it still pops a bit. (instead of like 10 pops a solve, I'm down to about 1-2) But I did leave the pieces that cause clicking because I like the clicks. It gives me feel. Which made me wonder what he did because he said in the description he left the clicks in too.

Yeah, on my black one I did the full non clicking mod and it's alright, it's turns better than my 7x7, but I don't really like it. On my white one, I did what you did and kept some of the clicking in and I really like it. And I am curious also as to what he did :)

I liked the clicks from the start even though lots of people seemed not to, it was the popping that I wanted to get rid of. So I did the mod and as I said, big improvement! But it's a mystery on how his doesn't pop. At the speed he turns it, mine would be popping centers like no tomorrow, lol!

So yeah, he probably did something more to it... I wonder as well...

Maybe it's simply turn accuracy. Like he doesn't actually cut corners, but turns when the layers click into place all in rhythm.
