FYI, the "bell phenomenon" can be seen here if you observe closely. When you try to close the affected eyelid, there is an upward movement of the eye. Thanks for posting this.
iv had it all my life ,28 years ,so think yourself lucky..i must make a video ,you guys on here have inspired me .good luck to you all.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Too top it off, i've been struggling with hearing loss--apparently Otosclerosis-- for the past two years, and this last year has been the toughest. I was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta which is a genetic bone condition and i'm in a wheelchair which apparently has been what's affected the hearing. aaaaah maaaan. So this Bell's Palsey is the least of it. Don't forget shampoo too! Anyway, anyone have the eye needle-like pangs and constant migraines due to this? I'm in need of some morale. :/
I got this three years ago and recovered within three weeks. Two months ago, woke up with it again, only this time it's worse--the recovery has been a lot slower. And i've also had intense pain in my eye and the affected side of my head and face. I've had migraines off and on all of my life but this is worse. I dont' have insurance and it's been tough.
Stay positive and keep strong man. I've been having a rough year too. Not only did i get this two months ago, but i got a ton of other things piled up all at once. It'll get better, if it hasn't already.
haha when i looked at my comments and this came up i didnt have a clue what you were talking about i had completly forgot about this it cleared up about 2 weeks after that comment one of my school teachers had it and she now has a twitch. i think the earlier u get treated the better and hopefully if ur giving steroids you are one of the people they work on.
hi how are you? hows your bells palsy now? we have the same bad situation i also have bell's palsy. what medication your taking and how long you have it? take care.

Good luck fella. A family friend has had it and I know she suffered quite badly with it but is ok now!

This vid was taken yesterday 10/17/07 so I obviously still have it. I am told repeatedly that it goes away in 2-3 weeks
