I got my cat from a shelter, but there's nothing wrong with breeders. We've been breeding animals for thousands of years, most dog breeds simply wouldn't exist if there had been no breeders.
in the description i didn't like that you discriminated breeders. not all of them are in it for the money, a lot breed as a hobby (one or two litters per YEAR), to preserve the breed ( if there wernt breeders nearly all cats would be mixes and people who really wanted a breed with a look or personality they liked it would be hard to find that one.), or because they have a love for cats and they want to make a living by basing their lives around their favorite animal in the world =].

As long as dogs and cats are dying in animal shelters and pounds because of a lack of homes, no breeding can be considered "responsible."
