I remember this game I was 12 years old, I was shopping with my grandparents in Wegmans, and I screamed when I heard the goal over the radio loudspeaker. A crowd gathered around me to see what was wrong and I nearly gave my Grandfather a heart attack. I never forget that when I go in there.
Barnes was one of my favorite Sabres ever. Hard worker with a knack for scoring big goals. He typified what being a Buffalo Sabre is all about.
