It is a shame they didn't give the Enzo much time to reign as the ultimate car. The FXX surely makes up for it but its not street legal. Wonder when they'll make another replacement. I can't even imagine what that car would be capable of.

The Enzo WAS perfect when it came out. But that was now four years ago, and it really is astounding how the technology really doesn't stop getting better, because now the light weight F430 is JUST AS GOOD! That means two great things: The 430 Scuderia is an astounding vehicle, and whatever car comes from the FXX program will be even better!

Now when you compare an enzo to an F430 scuderia then I'd definitly go for the scud. Not only does the enzo look ugly but it just doesnt handle as well as the F430 scud.

It may be faster, but I don't think its better. peavyt15 has a point, it weighs quite a bit more then Ferrari SMG system or a regular manual (50-60kg more). That is quite a lot for a car that weighs as little as the 430 Scuderia. If DSG was so good, why does no one in F1 use it? Why haven't Ferrari emulated it? And I doubt pride and ego is a factor since Ferrari is all about pace.

For a Golf where an extra 50-60 Kg is not that big of a deal then its okay, but for a 430 Scuderia where weight loss is the primary goal 50-60 Kg extra is quite steep.

i found in two pages the best lap time for the enzo, 1:25 and 1:22.3, for the scuderia i couldnt find an official lap time, it is suppose to be very near, but whatever it is this show didn't prove anything
