when a star goes supernova... whats its 'kill zone'.. i mean does it take out other stars light years away..? does that 'cosmic cloud' effect other developed solar systems in the area?
No one has seen a star form, Boyle's gas law prevent this from happening. What is happening is the dust and gas is moving out of the way due to solar winds and revealing stars we've never seen b4, not 'baby' stars.
Orion nebula has always been my favorite... too bad every time I get to have an opportunity to see it with a good telescope... its ether raining or cloudy.. :(
