Ultravox was the best synth band of the 80's. Saw them in '82 and they were amazing. Then again, how could they not be amazing with Midge Ure! The voice, the eyeliner, those sideburns.....sooooo sexy!!

This video was directed by Russell Mulcahy of HIGHLANDER fame. Then again, James 'Midge' Ure is scottish, so maybe he's an immortal? ;-)

This was the first video where I discovered Ultravox waaaaaaay back when. It was on a snowy little station that I picked up on rabbit ears! We didn't have cable then. If the weather was bad, I could just about see it. Been a fan ever since.

I have the Vienna album in my hands, released in 1980,Chrysalis/Capitol records,first track on album is Sleepwalk, second track is Passing Strangers. 3 track on Side B is Vienna.

Ultravox were cool in the day....Midge Ure did some tunes with ThinLizzy that were pretty cool too.
