  • Excuse me, help me understand. I am trying to figure out this BLM sponsored event. What's the point of subjecting mustangs to the extreme lighting, extreme noise, extreme amount of strange people and extremely unnatural surroundings?

What gentling techniques were used to bring the Mustang to this point in the contest? How much time elapsed between removing the mustang from the range and putting on this public show? Who gets the credit?

  • i think it was natral horsemanship.

  • @MorganJServices Well let's see, you evidently don't know Travis Dittmer. If you are one of the few who have seen him train horses, you will understand the respect he creates between the horse and the trainer. Yes his horses respect him. They stand at attention when he walks into the training ring...not out of fear, but because he has created that trust and respect from the animal. He is gentle, yet firm and the horses respond. I've never seen anything like it..

  • we adopted dixie but changed her name to gracie

  • Great job Travis! We're so proud to know a real live cowboy!

    Ron, Angie & the boys
