  • why is ted sampley depicted as a skull?

  • My mom's dad was an army veteran of World War 2. My dad's dad was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, and my oldest cousin and his wife are both lieutenants in the US Air Force. God bless American veterans everywhere!!!

  • Does Olberman's show just talk about other talk show hosts?

  • Oreilly gets misquoted and taken out of context more than anyone I've ever seen

  • People who are loved by many are often targeted by the jealous in this case the far left

  • WOW! Olbermann named O'Reilly 'Worst Person in the World" again! What's that...the 13,678time Olbermann's done this?? The man is a satirical juggernaut.

    You so fresh, Keith.

  • Wow...he keeps changing his mind...flip flopping!

  • Edwards and O'reilly are both wrong. If the US didn't accept expansionism as its foreign policy than there wouldn't be as many homeless veterans because we wouldn't have to put them through the horrors of war for stupid reasons like Iraq. That's how they get mental illness. Edwards is stupid for bringing up the economy as the reason though.

  • jeremyemilio. you just basically stated my point. many politicians have use these issues for there own gain, and EDWARDS IS ONE OF THEM, and it is wrong.

  • this guy is a moron. he hasnt looked at the facts. john edwards is manipulating a serious issue to get votes by saying that the economy is the cause of homeless vets, when 90% is due to addiction or mental illness. that was wat bill o reilly was pointing out. get your facts straight!!

  • Yes, QQC609, 90% of ALL homelessness is the result of addiction or mental illness. That has never stopped republicans from viewing it as an economic issue before (i.e. welfare reform, workfare programs, etc., etc.). The republican answer has always been that if you remove social safety nets there is an economic incentive for the poor and destitute to get back to work... problem solved. Now, all of a sudden, it's not an economic issue? Please explain.

  • addiction - vietnam being flooded with narcotics

    mental illness - ptsd

  • Few homeless people get welfare..

  • Where did this 90% figure come from, is this number from the VA or did you just pull it out of your hat like Limbaugh and O'Reilly like to do with statistics? In any event, if a vet's mental illness or addiction was a direct result of stress due to combat, the pain of injury, or the horror of watching friends die, do we as a people have a responsibility to these people, or do we just forget what they sacrificed for us and look the other way when we see them on the street?

  • These statistics are from the VA. and im not trying to take anything away from the veterans. of course they have sacrificed alot for there country. BUT WHAT EDWARDS IS SAYING THAT THE ECONOMY IS THE REASON FOR THEM BEING HOMELESS. THIS IS A LIE. I SAW HIM SAY IT. HE IS, LIKE MANY POLITICIANS, ARE USING THIS FOR THERE OWN GAIN. 'AND ARE LYIING'can you understand that!!!?
