You obviously don't understand! Naxxramas and onyxias lair in WOTLk, were EXACTLY THE SAME RAIDS as they were in lvl 60, the only thing they've done was to replace the lvl 60 by a lvl 80 and then poof, you got WOTLK Raids, that is revamp! In Cata, yes there is Onyxia and Nefarian but they are not the same they are undead, resurected by their father Deathwing (storyline!) in a COMPLETLY NEW RAID WITH COMPLETLY DIFFERENT FIGHTS! Same thing for Ragnaros, Entire new raid and new fights!
Whoever said "back in the day people in tier 3 or high warlord/marshal gear would 1 shot you, that was unbalanced" - try getting into bg/arena now with 0 resilience against Ruthless geared people. You will get owned in like 10 seconds anyway. Stop saying bullshit, gear always mattered in wow, now it matters more with resilience.
Blizzard will never put Vanilla server, because it would cause a suicide effect, on a marketing point of view. It would be like, admiting that old content was better than new content and then, a lot of magazines and videogames website would start to say that "wow is dying because the game is not progressing anymore".
@heycalice vanilla was amazing, but really it was like a beta. Vanilla was not balanced, few classes was OP and few classes was very weak (even in PvE). I know that ppl which like to back to Vanilla only because of sentimentality feeling that makes in many ppl (included me), but for real - who have enough time to gather 40ppl to go raid (and this chaos on teamspeak -_-)?The only thing I want back from Vanilla is that need of progress in rest of my guildies ;( - I still wait for better days
LOL I perfectly agree with you. The only good tank class back in Vanilla was Warrior, Priest were by far the better healers and Warlock were just insanely OP for DPS. But I Actually kinda like the Idea that someone proposed to me. Make only 2 server for each version (Vanilla, TBC and WOTLK) and allow 40% of the population of those server, to people that created their first accounts after those version, to make sure that new people could discover the old game. 60% would be the rest

Euh??? not at all! the only thing they revamp into lvl 85 content are Zul'Gurub and Zul'Aman. Blackwing Descent, bastion of twilight and firelands are totally entire new stuff. Maybe certain boss like nefarian and Ragnaros came back to the the game, but it's totally different.
I agreed that WOTLK had too much revamp (Onyxia and Naxxramas). But for Cata, only ZA/ZG are revamp content and who cares these are only heroic dongeon so its pretty minor. For the rest, its entirely new, even the fights.

No one likes super super easy content like this. the only challenge behind vanilla raids was finding people who were attuned. No one actually had to be good to down a boss back then.

The level cap during the expansion Burning Crusade was lvl 70. Sunwell was the last raid.
The level cap during the classing World of Warcraft game (vanilla) was lvl 60. Naxxramas was the last raid. (also brought back for 1st raid of WotLK because not many did it back at 60 because of toughness.)

The level cap during the classing World of Warcraft game (vanilla) was lvl 60. Naxxramas was the last raid. (also brought back for 1st raid of WotLK because not many did it back at 60 because of toughness.)
