Wow...I did not realise how impoverished some places could be in this country. The rubbish on the streets is awful, I guess no one who lives there must care much otherwise it would not be in that state in the first place. I am sure there must be some nice parts of Bolton too..has to be right?

yes there are obviously! but if the video showed that then it wouldn't be funny would it? like any video like this it only highlights the points that is wanted to be made, so for example a propaganda video was to be made of Bolton you would only see the positive, nice happy friendly areas! anything can be hidden but only a fool takes things at face value!

I used to live in Heaton many years ago. Had to leave - it was frightfully common. A handful of nouveau-riche folk there, but still essentially Boltonian and, as they say, one can't polish a turd.

It's not the look of the town that makes it so bad (All that shit you see in the photos didn't put itself there). It's some of the people that live here. Lower class never-do-wells that think the world owes them a living and couldn't care less about the area around them. Not to mention the thug, hood wearing mongrels that are left to roam the streets by there 'parents'. I live in Kearsley(the posh suburb of Farnworth)and I love Bolton..Just a shame about some of the people in it!

If that Honda Civic is indeed the one that's been left rusting opposite the internationally-renowned tourist attraction, the Steam Museum, then I remember seeing it there at least 3 years ago!
I also noticed St. Margaret's in one shot - brings a tear to my eye (dirty priest, but we won't go into that)!
I think Bolton could be City of Culture. There's certainly enough hideous diseases there.
