  • Hi, great flying! nice vid! I was thinking about getting one of these and i was just wondering about how fast they can go? and does it come in a bind and fly version as well? thanks, looking forword to some more videos!

  • whats the name of the white one on the right at 0.02

  • and which ones better the white or the red one

  • red one is better

  • @afnedlrleewr lol yeah i figured. i was wanting a 4g3 but am no where ready i can only fly an esky honey bee cp3.

  • @bazrichi yea me too i want one but im mot ready

  • I have one of these, and you know how when you trim it to make it stable when your hovering and things like that. Do you have to re-trim yours every time because when i fly it again with everything the same its not stable? So i have to trim it every flight, its kinda annoying. Thanks

  • I have to re-trim the rudder frequently, even during flight. What I usually do is: connect the battery, let is be for 2 minutes and then reconnect to battery to reset the 4-in-1. The gyro is now warmed up and more stable. But as the voltage of the lipo drops, I have to trim rudder to the right.

Occasionally I have to re-trim aileron and elevator. That's usually after adjusting the paddles or when I move the COG.

  • yea i reckon im getting the hand of it. It doesnt take all that long now but i have to trim the rudder during flight about every 20 seconds. i think it might be because i got some fluff stuck in the tail rotor and its not working as well as it could. I got i out though... anyway do you think i might need a new one???

  • Yes, you need a new one. And you can send the old and broken one to me :p

Maybe you need to replace the tail motor? Do you need to trim all the way to the right? I need to replace it after 50+ flights.

  • all the way to the left...

  • Just reconnect the battery then. And maybe you should replace the main motor, since the tail is getting too strong for the main.

  • i think it's the other way around. i almost burnt out the tail motor...

  • realy? i need one? i got the first one that they made and it sucked the battery will get shot if you over charge it by like 5 sec. and the tail moter is not strong enough so it alwase turns in one direction.

  • would this be a good heli for a guy thats only experience is the picooz apache but i can fly it good i can even make it do some tricks so would it be a good baginner to intermediate heli

  • not even close. This is hard for me to control and I already have 4ch helicopter that I can fly good.

  • hey i see you answered me i have a blade msr now and im doing great with it

i never bought the 4#3b i was to scared to break it and lose my money to some chink

  • Good choice, the blade msr is a good beginner heli. The walkera is pretty hard to control. The newer version the cb100 really shines. A guy at my club bot t a few days ago and let me fly it. Amazing!

  • yeah i have one of those to and tomorrow im getting a new proto e-flite thats as big as an msr but 6ch collective pitch

  • chopperds are inherently unstable. It's very difficult to get it trimmed so it will stay that way, especially one that weight this little and is so small.

Try flying it in your school gym where there's very little wind, but lots of room.

  • Im wondering if I should get an MCX or the 4#3. I own a t-rex 450 know what im doing and want to fly indoors. I dont need any training and know how to fly helicopters. I want something that will perform but at the same time is smooth. i can make modifications but would rather not.

  • I've one co axial heli -a micro mosquito- and it's quite boring. I think I would go for a 4#3B BL.

  • I'm having a really hard time getting mine even remotely stable which has resulted in some bad crashes. :|

  • whats a more stable, better all around heli, the mCX or this. i know one is co axial but regardless.

  • The mCX without question. Virtually anyone can fly the mCX, the Walkera needs skill!

  • how many channels has this got im only 12 but im an ace pilot please reply im thinking about getting this :)

  • It uses four channels, but that's not really interesting I think. More importantly: can you solder? Do you like tinkering? Do you have the patience to train for weeks? Can you get replacement parts easily? You should think about that before buying one.

  • I just got one today, Amazingly small.

Having no experience with RC heli's my flight time is up from 1 second to about 8 lol.

Takes a lot of practice I see.

Already I have had to tighten the tiny screws in the head as they were very loose, repaired a broken wire to the tail motor as it broke in a crash, and the tail boom is coming loose which I will reinforce with a piece of old bank card and superglue. The design of it where the boom fits the chassis is not strong.

    Great little thing though.

  • Yea, great heli. I'm still having a lot of fun with it: training backward flight now.

Crashes in backward flight cause more damage, but usually it's not severe. The tail knighthead is missing since I started practicing. I broke the tail boom once and trashed a bearing in the tail, but that was all easy and cheap to fix.

Once my backward flight figure eights are perfect I'll post a video of that ;)

  • Hey i got my 4#3b without much research and only experience flying those super micro indestructible foam heli's which i got good at. But this i have discovered is much harder!! i can get up for short periods before i loose most of my control any tips? also at take off it just wants to go left....

  • All 4#3's want to go to the left, once you're up in the air it's ok though.

It may take you weeks or even months to master this little bird. You might want to read the lessons in Radd's school of rotary flight (google for it), they did help me.

When you crash, cut the throttle immediately.

  • buy a cheap helisim , esky sell them if u have 20 bucks 2 spare its a bargain instead of buying spareparts or even better practise with a lama v3 then u get the sim 4 free included free of charge :)

  • @samunro01 All single rotor heli's want to go left at take off because of the talk of the rotors, so don't worry to much its just physics :)

  • Awesome flying ... wish i had the skills.

I have the same heli, but for me it is better to practice with my DF04 & Honerbee.......great video.

  • Heh ty :D

  • ellub, its me again thanks for the response. i have another problem in my walkera 4#3b the heli just arrived last october 07, 2008 i was very excited at first but when i try to pairing the transmiter and receiver the only active is the control to move the swash plate or left and right and the helis main rotor is not moving or spinning, i did all the steps before i pairing it, could u give me some tips how can i resolve this problem. thank you so much..

  • Normally the main motor should start after binding. Don't know what's your problem: maybe a broken main motor, bad wiring, connector not connected ok, broken 4-in-1. Try if you can fix it, if not, return it.

  • I also have a 4#3b the main motor will not work unless you have the throttle and throttle trimmer in the full down positions ie so that the stick and the trimmer come to a complete stop once the transmitter and the reciever are paired it should work ok hope this helps you.

  • thank you so much boxer! you are right. im enjoying now my 4#3b. thanks for your tip.

  • Another tip for you is when you switch on the transmitter with the throttle and trimmer in the full down positions and the motor or swash plate do not work" switch off the transmitter for a few seconds with the battery still connected and it should be paired up when you hear the whistling noise and the red l.e.d light is glowing solid and not blinking at a fast rate again hope this helps you.

  • hi, do i need to charge first the battery of 4#3b or this is have a charge already and ready to fly?

  • Lipo's should be partly charged when stored. You can fly without charging, but the flighttime will be limited.

  • Hi i have just bought one of these and i'm struggling to fly it? have you any tips?? my tail boom appears to be loose and needs tightening with every attempted flight? when i do get it in the air i find it very hard to control please any tips would be great.

  • I would say, not for beginners

  • Can you post more info on your brushless setup?

  • Here it's not brushless, but I've another video where it is brushless. There's also some info on the parts I used to make it brushless.

  • Can i get the link and more info? Was it worth it?>

  • how long would the main/tail motor wear out?

  • Dunno exactly... Main can last from 15 till 100 flights (1 flight = 1 empty battery), and the tail motor usually lasts longer. I replaced the main motor with a brushless one, which should last forever.

  • I have the 43b w/ alum head -main motor lasted 15 flights-$7.80 to replace

  • Is the 4#3b any easier to fly compared to the original 4#3?

  • Yea, it flies pretty stable out of the box, whereas the original 4#3 needed some tweaks to make it fly nice.

  • hello , is this helicopter a good helicopter for a beginner? or shut i go for a coax like the walkera 5 10 2.4GHz metal i really like these a lote more

  • Get a bigger FP heli (e.g. Honey Bee FP). And a flight sim.

  • ik denk dan dat ik voor de coax ga ik wil namelijk eerst iets rustigs voor in de woonkamer

  • A Coax is a good chioce for beginners, it flys very stable if it's well trimmed. You can practice the reaction and you will learn how a Helicopter reacts on your steering commands.

I bought a Walkera 5#8, they are ok. But if i had to buy a new one, i would take the E-Sky Lama, i think it's the best Coax Heli.

  • What is that pad you keep placing the heli on? Is that a charger of some sort? About how much would this beauty sell for end of the month?

  • The pad is an electronic scale and shows the weight of the heli in grams (48.9g). The price will be around $200.

  • thats a nice canopy, is it included in the sale? where did you get it? whats the diference between old walkera 4#3 and walkera 4#3 2.4 GHZ? pls reply.. thanks!! nice flying..

  • It's not available at the moment, but it should be in shops at the end of May 2008.

Differences between the 4#3B (metal head) and the 4#3:

-bigger and heavier canopy (2.5g instead of 1.1g)

-very smooth operating servos with a bigger throw

    -different servo holder

-different main gear/motor pinion (138t/16t instead of 72t/12t)

    -main blades are 2-4mm wider

    -different frame

    -rx2406 2.4ghz receiver

-partly metal head and a metal flybar

  • where did you get the head?

  • i want one!

  • I know :p
