Iverson used to torch, absolutely TORCH Kobe back in the day dude. He on a regular basis dropped 30 to 40 on LA back in the days (i was an avid Sixers fan back then, still am). A.I. in his prime was ungaurdable. Kobe having more rings is a testament to LA being a better organization than Philly by far from the top down. Talent for talent Iverson and Kobe were neck and neck.

A palyer does not have to make another player better. They all got into the league with the same intention- to win a championship. It is the coach's job to make palyers better but understanding the right cohesive formation that is needed when playing different teams. A.I is naturally gifted. he has unbelieavable skills. I don't think Jordan had influence how well Rodman or even scottie played back then.

Also think about the inspiration he gave to youngsters. I am one of those that play and experience the basketball with AI's name. It's not about the stats really. When it all comes down to it, Kobe is regarded as one of the best players of all time. He even gets comparisons to MJ. Iverson was good but he really wasn't in Kobe's league. And that's really obvious. Kobe's just plain better in a lot of aspects and also overall.
