  • bravisimo good

  • The best feeling a father can experience is when his cute little daughter puts her head on his shoulder and dozes off. The whiffs of warm air blown on the neck and the gentle touch of her hands on the shoulders is the most satisfying and blissful feeling. Thank you dear Lord for blessed are those men who have a daughter.

  • Sikho kush punjabio. Americans were always ahead of the world in other things. Now they are ahead of us in sikhism too. Guru Nanak Dev Sahib said so kyo manda akhiay jit jamme rajan. But an american understands that more than us

  • couldn't agree with the message more... thanks for sharing and expressing... will do lots of people good if you can pls spread this message in sangat... waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh...

  • This guy is the best.

  • (2) from their surroundings, parents etc. that they develop moh for what they possess and even their thoughts/beliefs. The Western culture is sorta "Culture-less" and the goraas USUALLY have a clean slate anyways! So when a Gora Sikh learns his learning is guided more by reason rather than thoughts/beliefs that were already implanted in the desis' by the desi culture. People always say teach culture to children - this is one exception where it doesn't actually help!

  • I have a theory why usually the "gora" sikhs are better able to understand Dharma in comparison to their indian counterparts (not to demean the desi sikhs). In ancient guru-shishya parampara when you come to a guru you have to come with a "bhavana of tyaga" you tyag your feelings, thoughts and your mind has to become a clean slate before your guru can start teaching you! Now with the destruction of system people have forgotten the importance of tyaag. So desis have already been taught so much

  • nice

  • this kind of reaction by family members and relatives (especially the eldery people) is very common after the birth of a daughter...i also had similar kind of experience when my daughter was born and I used to get shocked and angry as well on such kind of comments...cultural impact...even the well educated people of new generation also prefer boys over girls...very good effort done by Sadasat Simran Singh Ji...Hope this will help atleast the youger generation to change their mindset.WJKK, WJKF
