@LorcTheBest no, van persie was brought in as an early replacement for bergkamp. rosicky was brought in as a replacement for robert pires. if he was consistent in his performances, it can easily be said that he was more than a replacement. unfortunately, after a few incredible seasons, he burnt out and is now behind wilshere, ramsey, nasri, fabregas, song, and soon mata in the pecking order for the midfield position. shame. such a great player but i think this season he'll make a comeback :)

Well, it's difficult. Technically Rosicky is still captain, but he doesen't play a lot. This weekend on Emirates Cup Plašil was ment to be a captain, but he's not going. This Ujfaluši question is very sensitive for us czechs. Ujfalusi departed Czech national team, because he's stupid idiot. Some Newspapers pictured him (and other players) with whores after Slovakia defeat and then he left, because he didn't want to face consequences. What a captian, huh?
