@Rykharde thank you so much! i value myself on my first position intonation. ill be posting plenty more videos through out my time in college. Currently working on the first Misek Sonata
Try not to slow down on the slurred 16th notes; my teacher told me that you should try and stay the same tempo throughout the piece and you might consider taking those 16th notes separate. It's your call, but I'm just saying that it sounds a little better if you have the slurred triplets and then the separate 16th notes. Hope that helps!
@Magicalfish983 well im done playing this piece but thank you! my professor actualy encouraged my tempo change right there. Look up Dennis Whittaker from University of Houston. hes a boss. i also totaly screwed that part up.
@stringbass123 oh goodness, thank you! this quite amature and i dont think i did too well lol but that you verry much! but yes i do have have some pointers. MEMORIZE IT. lol i have been convinced by my teacher that its the only way to perfect anything. Repition is key as well. find a place that is troublesome and drill it 15 times a day. i could go on. but as you see in the video, i focus on tone. ive only been playing 3 years. practice is key! and keep your patience. plz add me and send me vids
Fantastic. This is just a great performance. Intonation is spot on, the interpretation is musical. Just an all around fabulous performance.
