i hate tis bus..litter seat..can make comfortable..with many seat n 1 space for wheelchair nt 2..the elderly seat can make 2 by 2 nt seat 1 seat..anyone feel tat too??..i usually don get seat n wen many ppl is diffcult to move or even alight
Which Scanias with Voith transmissions are more reliable: these buses which have these particular trannies as retrofits (the original trannies were made by Scania themselves); or those that had Voiths installed at the Scania factory?
The buses have been serving the public faithfully for good 18 years plus ... is time for her to take a good rest. All will be scrap off by May 2009. All the Scania N113 buses are maintained and repaired in Bedok North Ave 4, SBSTransit depot. Cheers!
why are they taking out these beautiful buses out of service before new years...i mean these buses still run good and are in good shape to just take them out of service...so sad
Wa good job siah. All these old scania very rare liao. It was my fav bus when i was young. I like the idle-ing sound "cold engine" sound and the "whistle" when accelerating.
TinTin, the next time you take a video of the bus, can you show what's happening outside the window? It's quite boring if you keep filming inside the bus. Thanks.
I totally miss these buses. Still remember riding them often on route 238 to my late grandma's home in Toa Payoh as a child.

Nice sounding vehicle, sounds quite similar to a Mercedes Benz O.405N with the Voith gearbox option.

It is indeed an in-line six-cylinder, a Scania DSC11 to be exact, and is (possibly) direct-injected.

As stated. This bus has a 254 bhp turbocharged Inline 6-cylnder engines. Tourque is not stated though.
