But now, taking Searle's meaning of "strong AI" literally we could just say that AI implies "strong AI" to make everybody happy and to enlighten Searle.
You're obviously an INTP and you care about semantics and trivial technicalities. I don't care about John Searle and what he meant. I hate petty semantic arguments. They're a waste of time. Strong AI is just a commonly accepted term that many people use to refer to true intelligence in software. What else can we call it? You didn't offer any alternative! I'll call it Strong AI and I don't care if you don't like it. I care about creating strong AI, not semantics or philosophies.
'strong' is a term in chess theory. In order to play at a certain level, you use a set of principles as a guide in your decision-making process to avoid making 'weak' moves that causes you to lose the game. Those are called natural or intuitive moves.
But chess is too complex to pour your decision into a fixed algorithm, sometimes there are even better moves that go beyond the obvious. Those are called 'strong' moves.
It's perfectly fine to use the term 'Strong A.I." mainly because nobody has ever proven that human beings posses something that A.I. wouldn't possess, i.e. mind, consciousness, etc. In the clip it talks about the "vacuousness" of A.I. and about how humans supposedly aren't "vacuousness". I disagree. Human symbology is a sytem of seemingly meaningful symbls but such can in fact be rooted back to just such same vacuousness. The only difference is the complexity of our illusion.

Avoid "strong AI" and avoide Searle ! lol

This argument is wrong. You could just as easily apply it to another human being as you could a computer program capable of general intelligence.

I actually think and have a mind... sometimes I doubt humans do though ^_^ I'm not a machine per se but I am artificially created.

For Norvig on this topic, check out the video " reddit.com Interviews Peter Norvig" at 7:20 minutes in.
