I started looking at boots 'cause, I'm sick of weiring sneakers all the time. But boots cost twice as much as most sneakers.

The good thing about leather products is that they are more of an investment than a simple purchase. So if you understand that the boot will last for a looooong time, the price is justifiable. Same goes for jackets.

Hi Aaron. I'm new to YouTube and stumbled on your videos, which I like. Lately I have been going through some style changes, many of which my wife is rather unhappy with. One of them is a new fascination with cowboy and western style clothes and boots. So here's my question: what do you think of pointy toe'd cowboy boots? I have couple pairs that I really like. They have the tall slanted heel, and one pair is the "slouch" style. No fancy stitching, just plain leather. Any thoughts?

Of course men can wear Ugg boots, if they want, but I don’t think they look good on men. All that said, if you like Ugg boots you should wear them.

I was afraid at first that you'd recommend an ugly Euro club boot or some laced-up, rounded toed, lug-soled Doc Martin's....but you came through with one of my favorites! It all depends on what it looks like and what you are wearing it with. Yes you could wear it with jeans. When I see a leather sport coat, I think it looks best with a zip up sweater under with a collared shirt under the sweater and even a tie. Play around with layering.

I think that if done in moderation, it is okay. Most people would never know you had anything done.  It only lasts about 3 to 6 months and is about $300 a pop. But if there is something that you are not happy with, take care of it.
