@webkinzloversbff it's not dutch, it's german. :) I have heard that dutch and german sound the same to people from england, america and so on but truth be told: if you have never learned any dutch as a german you can hardly understand the dutch people... some phraises are the same or very similiar, but I'm from Germany and I personally would never ever understand what a dutchman says.... they speak like they have something stuck inside of their throat or anything (that's not an insult!)

What I find either amusing or just plain embarrassingly annoyed about is when I hear some of my fellow Britons raise their voices as they attempt to communicate with local people in any Contintenal country, let alone in France - IN ENGLISH - as if the raised voices will have some effect in making themselves understood! However, we Britons shoulld feel ashamed either way as more & more Continentals now speak better, a more correct, English than we do! And this includes younger French people.
