What the hell do you think you are doing there? Do you know that this a musical instrument that requires some proper technique? What any kid gets out of a bongó or a conga is better what you sell as so-called expert knowledge. Terrible and really hard to bear, a slap in the face of any serious percussionist!

Totally neglectable video if it were not so annoying. But then, this might have been your intention? Very poor if this was the case, there are far better ways to entertain people...

IMHO this video simply does injustice to an instrument with some serious cultural and historic background.

A lot of people here complained for the sole reason that this kind of instruction is leading nowhere musically.

You might not have intended all these reactions, but comments like the ones you received would make me wonder. They are not pure hate or something, but an attempt to improve things, so please do take my advice seriously

Turkish and African drum heads surely are made from goat skin.  An African can explain it by saying their goats have less fat, or perhaps due to the hot climate of sub-Saharan Africa and the goats not needing as much hair. Regardless, bongo head are made of goat skin.

Turkish and African drums are not Bongos. Bongo-like perhaps. THIS is an "expert" lesson for "beginners". They will tend to believe whatever this man says and NOT be arguing the fine points of what is or is not a bongo in the Afro-arab tradition or how any such drum relates to the LP Afro-cuban drum that this man is holding which are never covered in goat but in Mule, Cow, Buffalo (water, not bison) or synthetic skins that include (oddly enough) x-ray film.
