  • Bush can bomb the hell out of Iraq but can't accept that a brain dead woman be allowed to die. The fact that he pretended to care about this woman is funny and sad at the same time.

  • Hmmmmmm, a guy who snorted a hole in his head, nearly drank himself to death and sent 4000 saps to die in a made up war he and his cronies created is somehow able to speak about the "quality of life"? Republicunts are some amazing people and their nerve is astonishing.

  • Her life was nothing more than a series of involuntary reflexes. She had no consciousness and zero chance of recovery. This was the obvious medical consensus, and the autopsy confirmed it. Wanting to keep her alive just because of your religious beliefs is completely deranged.

  • @gingerbreadcorpses She was a living human being. Killing her because you deem her inferior is disgusting. Not only did they decide not to take care of her, the prevented others from taking care of her. There were literally thousands if not millions of people who would have come to her aid if they let them.

  • @ItssBrian But she was literally brain dead with zero chance of recovery. That's not "deeming her inferior", it's just stating a medical fact. She WAS dead, just not physically. This was way beyond a severe disability or a coma; she was -dead-.

  • I agree with President Bush

  • if we still have a fee country when its over trust me when i say it will only have come at a great sacrifice and cost to the american citizens. lets just hope we can retain our individual freedoms free from communist and socialist rule without having to shed blood to do so. either way is fine by me after all i did join to stop the spread of communism and to kill the enemies of my country.

  • If you havent been over there you ropinion isnt worth shit you dont have a realistic viewpoint as your not privy to information that is form the source but from a biased liberal media network bent on turning this into another vietnam. they do not want to admit that the cause is just and that we must win. they will accept national defeat for the sake of argument to win a politcal war for power within the white house. personally i hope that the media receives some limitations after its all over

  • BRAVO!!!

  • Bush is such an idiot. He's not ok with putting someone in a PVS out of her misery, but he can bomb the hell out of Iraq and other places with a clear conscience.

  • iraq deserved the bombing if you haven tbene there stfu you have no idea what it takes to defend you and your best interests

  • Learn to use proper grammar, and then we'll talk.

  • i know how to use proper grammar you need to learn to think for yourself and quit letting the media think for you. like i said you have no idea about iraq or you would know the cause is justified and right. and its in our best interests.

  • ...I don't even know where to begin on this one.

  • the reason you dont know is you havent been there before nor after desert storm nor have you understood th ereasons why we went in. you have bought th elie th emedia has fed you that we had no real reason to go in. timing may have been off but iraq and th eworld is a better place with them being under our eye. as for sadam his own people hung him after a fair trial for his wars crimes using weapons of mass destruction against his own people.

  • Funny, the media has supported the Iraq war so I don't know where you're getting the idea that I get my views from the media. Again, work on your grammar.

  • the media has not supported the war. they have only told you of the failures violence and political unrest. no tth esafety of the people the actual obscurity of attacks. attacks do not happen daily in all cities but you here about the attacks daily and they tried to sell the story that the us had failed. overall it has been a success but th emedia keeps playing clips of sniper fire and innocent civ deaths and that is war. death is inevitable and not always the bad guy. the media wants us to lose

  • @supercomet32

The problem with that argument is, if we act based on what is 'justified and right' then there are dozens of more deserving places in the world than Iraq under Saddam, but we don't go to any of those places. We go to the one place that has oil (as well as a fairly stable government at the time...). Surely you can see how very suspicious that looks? I mean, where are the troops for Zimbabwe, or Sudan, or Tibet? Those places have nothing we want, so our leaders don't care...

  • The real problem is that people assume oil is the only reason we go into the middle east an dit clearly is not. you need to get out from under the liberal media scam cover jobg they are trying to use to politically push you into a socialist mentality and bring you under rule of their idealogy. we are in the middle east due to cold war decisions that we cannot back away from and if we do we will make a statement to our allies that we cannot be trusted. get over it. we shouldve nuked iraq.

  • Iraq doesnt have oil. the united arab emirates and sudi arabia has the oil. learn your facts. iraq invaded kuwait because of saudi arabias hold on oil there. iraq was the agressor. they had weapons of mass destruction they had a dictator leader who jeopardized his own people and the piece of shit is dead and the ones who survived and havent been found yet will pay for their crimes the same. iraq did support terrorists as is evident in the constant problems with terrorists there today.

  • @supercomet32: iraq certainly does have oil and one reason hussein gave for invading kuwait in the 1990s was because they were surreptitiously exploiting iraqi oil along the border. also, why would hussein, running a totalitarian state, have allowed terrorists or militants in his borders when he was executing detractors left and right? he certainly did not. i agree oil is not the only motivation for US action there. but with respect, i think you have some fact-checking to do on iraqi history.

  • iraq was invading kuwait and threatening saudi arabia with the same in order for them to not sell oil to the united state. they were looking to control the oil fields outside their borders. they are not a player in the oil market. i have been there more than once and do know wha tis there and what is not but i also see you know how to argue your poin unlike some others on youtube for which i hold no contempt but do not apologize for my ferocious attitude in responding.

  • get your facts straight first newyorker before you post nonsense so that way to don't appear so uneducated and ignorant.

  • Just to clarify my typo...my first reply was meant to say ......"so that way YOU don't appear so uneducated and ignorant."

  • A clear conscience? A CLEAR CONSCIENCE? Are you kidding me? Do you know what Saddam has done? And to his own people? Killing your own people just to save your own butt is not what I consider a clear conscience, and if that contradicts what you think about "clear consciences", then god help America, and the rest of the Earth for that matter.

  • Murders!!!. america's courts uphold killing babies via abortion, and death penalty so what make em think terry would've been spared.

  • This Terri Schiavo was a sad thing. I had a dream before the Judge ruled on her case that the judge would order in favor of the husband. After this in the dream, what I saw was horrible. Humanity stopped caring for each other and the most important thing, we we became callous of death. This dream that I had seems to be more and more coming to fulfillment everyday. I don't quite in God like you do. However, this dream does seem to be coming to pass.

  • If my dream has merit, then somehow this Schiavo case has turned humankind to be just like the Christian Bible says would happen before Christ came back. Could it be that sense we seem not to care about life and made this decision with Schiavo that God has turned the world (or maybe just our country) over to a reprobate mind? I am just hypothesizing here because this dream seemed very unique to me, especially now that I watch what happened after it.
