This album should have had parts used in Ken Burns Documentary about the Civil War Widow maker is about a snipers using a specific type of gun (The Widow maker), Glory bound was about the First battle of bull run (a complete fiasco for the North), Women and Children actually came to picnic and watch the battle thinking the North would rout the South...most of the other songs are self explanatory

hi this david i looked on ebay for you and found about 10 blue and gray lps for less than 10 bucksmost of them are about in the middle of posted poco music i buy lps quite a bit on ebay no problems but i understand how you feel good luck!! FOR me part of my enjoyment in music is the journey of finding good music at a great price take care

i hope one day they will re'release blue and gray and the live album again on cd i like all there albums they ever released and stuff those critics and read the book on poco called legend the story of poco by jerry fuentes a'great read and again those so called music crittics and radio djs dont know nothing about good music poco rocks

Great video of a great song from a great album. Also love "Down On The River Again" from "Blue & Grey". Really choked about the news that Paul has left the band tho' (see Rusty's posting on Poconuts). I'm gutted.

@rockmusic2112 That's gonna be easier said than done. Even the vinyl album is super rare (at the right price.) I'm not crazy about paying $20 for a vinyl LP from a perfect stranger I've never met in person let alone $100 for a really rare CD. I'm still hoping UMG will make it available at iTunes. Something's gotta give sometime.

Classic 70's. Amazing tune from a very underrated band. Three of my favourites to listen to during the summer...Poco:Legend; Fire fall, Elan and One Horse Blue; self titled.. Awesome lyrics, vocals and instrumentals

From the Album Blue and Grey, concept album about the civil war. For some reason this album didn't sell well and ended up in the bargain bins. I bought it for 99 cents. Had many great songs. Glorybound and Streets of Paradise are two of my favorites. I like please Wait For Me also. Great band with many great songs. Not many bands have the catalog of great songs this band has.

It now sells for high prices on ebay as the CD is very rare and out of print these days. You can pay anything up to a $100.00 for it now!

@rocker53zero Hey, my dad is a huge Poco fan and he saw this comment. He would like to know if you have any Blue and Grey copies (CD's) left? and if so, how much would you want for it? We live in the UK so he would be fine to pay for extra postage.

@twodux77 Poco did have some great music.. If you haven't heard One Horse Blue's debut album with Cry out for the Sun etc.. then take a listen. an excellent sound from a now defunct label. The band eventually went full country ( not my thing) in 1993 after numerous line changes. They had three great albums from 79-82, 1982 was the last good album for the Skynyrdesque band from Edmonton Alberta.

Great underrated track!!! These guys can rock & this one shows!!! Hey where can I find the 4 minute plus LP version of this song? All the hits compilations & collection CDs have the short 45 version. That's never cool!!! Wish UMG would reissue the original CD this is on & make it available at iTunes et al.
