  • 4 days...wow. I had this thing ready to go in 2 and you still suck after 4 days...

  • can you post etude numbers 15 and 16

  • @firesoul1200 i have an audition on this in a couple days too!

  • I just had an audition on this yesterday. This piece sucks ass and is a bitch to play on oboe. I ended up doing really shitty because I could never manage to clean some of the hard intervals or speed it up. So congratulations to you for not sucking at it.

  • I think you went well

jus a few lil things on tempo but over all it was well (=

  • i think it's more cunt-ishh to talk like that, and not have any videos to back yourself up :)

  • who's the cunt... tcabal1. I'm sure you enjoy attention.

  • thank you, jazzman303. For the critical jerks out there, these videoes are not a show off contest. I learn an etude over 4 days, record it and post it so people have a general idea of how they sound. They're not intended as performance examples.

  • tcabal1. you may play them fast but your articulation is weak.. and your sound sucks..

  • spoken like a man guy with no videos to prove yourself. you're funny :)

  • I don't own a video camera. Conversation terminated.

  • oh my. you're such a genius!

a guy with a youtube account, with no camera.

    now it's terminated, brothaa!

    :)

  • I have a video I made with my friends camera.. your such a weak pussy. With a lil pussy voice and mediocre guitar skills

  • haha.

    nice :)

  • @tcabal1 , I feel compelled now to expose your ignorance. This is not a song. It is an etude. Flaming moron. I'm assuming you're not a troll, but hey, who knows.

  • By the way... you can't keep time at all.. and your intonation sucks.

  • lol!! oh wow haha

  • Im really impressed with all your videos, and they really help when I have to play those etudes.

  • Good job. Try using side B-flat instead of bis when they surround C's. This will avoid "flip-flopping" and the blips between the notes should go away. Also, use fork F#/Gb if you aren't already (can't see your right hand). Also, add some dynamic shading instead of playing it all one dynamic. Judges hate that.

  • Good advice! This is not meant as a challenge but would you mind demonstrating so i can see how it's supposed to be done. I's a really hard song and this is what works best for me. Dynamics are easy to add, but i've only been playing this song for 4 days. definately needs some work.

  • or if you are really used to playing the alternate B flat (one and the little key) try using the palm C. its the middle key on your right hand, right above the B flat.

  • we should battle...pick an etude.

  • i dunno man, your good :)

plus i dont have the book :/

    been meaning to get it.

    how about something else?

1st part of Improvisation Et caprice by Bozza?

  • I ordered the music like 3 months ago and I still havent gotten it. but, when i do I rather learn the caprice.

  • caprice isnt as hard as you would think, its rather simple, jus the same triplet chromatic pattern. only part thats given me any trouble is the little arpeggio section in the middle. I was saying improvisation because it requires a little more skill and control in my opinion. but yeah, jus let me know when you get the music man, and your on :D

  • it is hard. the slow song is much easier. i'll let you know as soon as i get it.

  • well i personally wouldn't use side

when there are g sharps around because

that would be just another problem.

you just have to make the bis b-flat

smooth if you use it to regular c.
