I got my rock band 2 for ps2 today, bought it used and it takes 2-5 minutes to first load and get to the title page, and the songs take about 2 minutes to load each... is that normal for ps2?

I heard that the ps2 version has more songs than the ps3 and 360 versions but the 360 and ps3 versions have dlc so they have more songs at the end but sometimes they have to pay for them

I Fucking hate that you can't create your own character and custom make you guitar, yes i do care about the music more but with they just give some weird looking characters i hate having to look at them as i'm playing! but it's ok, i just bought the game today and i wish they just could have done that for the people that can't afford a PS3 , Xbox 360 or Wii :(

i got a ps3 but im not even buying rock band 2 for the ps3..

if i bought it for ps3 it'd have to buy the guitar hero controller for the ps3, which costs like 70 bucks then it'd have to buy the game which is 60 bucks..

so it'd rather just buy it for ps2..they should have the character customize thing but meh, i won't spend over 100 bucks just for that 1 feature..

and i don't care about the online

Cool review...but you do realize that this game hasn´t graphics for ps2? It´s all videos recorder on the ps3 and xbox 360...there´s a video for eah song do everytime you play the same song you get the same video.

WT was pretty good, too many glitches though. They fixed most of those picky details in GH: Metallica which is worth getting if you like that type of music.

RB 2 is definitely the better choice over World Tour though. I hope these games keep coming for PS2, apparently Beatles and Lego RB aren't for PS2 ...

yeah you can get a regular USB Hub for like a computer but the Special Edition came with one.

I got this game for the PS2 right after Christmas. Totally worth it! I have all the track packs, including the AC/DC Live one and I still have the first Rock Band sitting on my shelf. I chose to stick with my PS2 and it really paid off with this game.

this rock band for ps2 was kinda a big upgrade from rb1 on ps2 though....the drum trainer and even the freestyle mode made it into the game along with the beat trainer, play challenges...and a world tour mode that while not like the ps3's is still better

well the ps2 hardware is limited and its dying. ive been wondering why they cant put an online mode on any guitar hero or rock band for ps2.

the ps2 can do it its just they dont spend time doing it

im sad for the psp. its my favorite handheld. but its lacking new games, and it just cant keep up with the sales the DS has.

I hope Sony counters the DSi witha new model psp that is more powerful, uses Mini Blu-Ray disks about the size as UMD's, and built in flash memory or hard drive/solid state drive, more ram, and full suport for all ps3 games on remote play (psp to ps3 conection to use ps3 on psp wirelessly) but need to have a ps3 controller fot it though.
