@Molfsonand gtfo of here. The RSL goal was off a set piece which is way easier to score from than scoring during the flow of play. Beckham's cross was perfectly placed and it was the game winning goal. Idgaf what you say it was the best goal of the match. Galaxy 2011 champs!!!

I missed this game entirely and having just seen these highlights, I feel so bad for RSL, they seriously should have had 3 goals themselves. They didn't play badly..but Olave, usually good, was a weak link and one might ask if Kreis (usually the man) really should have had him out there on the pitch. He got beat a couple of times for goals. NYRB fan but also a fan of MLS and this game was great for MLS. I hate to say it but in order for the MLS to make headway, the LAG have to win.

It's a sad life supporting the Revs, but there is no way I can deny how much skill, talent and spirit the Galaxy have. As much as I try to hate them, it's one of the hardest things I will ever have to do. I wish this match was the MLS Cup Final. There is no way the Dynamo wil match the excitement of this game with LA playing against RSL. Again, as much as I try to dislike the Galaxy, for the love of god, they deserve this cup more than any other team. Good luck, boys (not that you'll need it).

As a keen follower of MLS from the UK I think this game is a good example of the best of MLS. The crowd all be it smaller than most in Europe showed a passion not visibly seen in other American sports. The standard is getting better with players like Keane, Beckham & Donavon who would get in most premier league sides. The pace and excitement of the games also seems to be improving. Really pleased for American fans and exciting for world football as a whole!

I grew up a follower of the Mexican league which dominates our regions Champions League, but most recently our best MLS teams have been giving them trouble. As a resident of Los Angeles, I am a big Galaxy fan. Our league overall can still use MUCH improvement but out top teams (LA, Seattle, Real Salt Lake) are the creme of the crop and give us the best games. Love watching great football from UEFA, CONMEBOL and all over

Don't expect the final to be as exciting (Houston #7 is getting a spot in CHampions League and Galaxy #1, Seattle #2 and #3 RSL were grouped together on the same side of the playoff bracket)
