  • Jesse Eisenberg reminds me of Simon Amstell, lol.

  • Who is the girl at 1:43?

  • @biggingeryeti Frankie Sandford from The Saturdays. She may be fit but she has no brain cells whatsoever.

  • Shuts lol

  • Hehehe... Simon Amstell pretending that he knows things is hilarious. As is watching his brain slowly melt in front of an audience.

  • -_-

  • frankie sandford has no idea what's going on

  • Does anyone else see that he's trying a bit hard here?

  • @TahaFHassan as much as the next comedian...

  • "There is a history of recto-vaginal insertion", sheer genius!!!

  • "The spectator sees more of the game". Bloody brilliant.

  • Stephen Fry vs. the encyclopedic teleprompter?

  • I think it's such a shame that someone like Stephen Fry isn't likely to produce offspring as he's such an unbelievably great guy.

  • Matt Shultz and Simon Amstell in the same room, all that's missing is Noel Fielding and it would be a dream come true!

I love it when they are doing the intros round and Matt and Simon dance on the desks.

  • Simon is so amazing.

  • I'd pretzel with Simon Amstell

  • 1:36 - victory sip...

  • I love Stephen Fry more than almost everything in the world.

  • "Lots of shiny things, and a rather less lustrous attitue towards women."

    Just... yes.

  • Whos that chick! ;)

  • @aza99 Frankie from 'The Saturdays'

  • the standard uniform for the Hippity Hoppity Brigade bahahahahahahahahaha

  • I love that Stephen Fry doesnt realise we all know what a pretzel is...

  • this goes to show, Stephen Fry could talk about ANYTHING and I'd find it insanely fascinating and listen with undivided attention

  • Amstell is Life.

  • 2:19 Simon has been charmed.

  • whose tha blond andy andy wahal version of cobain?

  • @Sashabear40 im pretty sure that's ryan adams, american country/rockalt musician

  • @sappybeastly ahh nevermind thats matt schulz from cage the elephant fack

  • I love how they've made Pretzels a basis for highbrow conversation.

  • Simon's face after "rectovaginal insertion" is just ADORABLE!!!

  • @telboy1992 I think he's been offered. There's a joke about him not getting a Knighthood because of the joke he made about the Queen giving blowjobs on 'Who's Line is it Anyway'.

  • The blonde dude reminds me of Giovanni Ribisi in Friends.

  • @BohemianFish thats matt shultz!

  • Is it just me or does the blonde guy kinda remind anyone of Barney from The Flintstones? Lol

How does Stephen Fry know something about everything?

  • @xDismantleMex stephen is lord and master of the wonderful world of knowing :P

  • hippedy hoppedy brigade?!?! LOOOL well done steven.

  • Stephen Fry is like and encyclopedia of whimzy and wonder! =O

  • Only Mr Fry could get away with that!

  • and this is just one of the many things that has lead me to this conclusion: simon = adorable :)

  • Rofl I love Simon Amstell more than my siblings but Stephen Fry might as well say "sit down boy and watch how a panel show should be hosted" So warm, intelligent and just utterly delightful. Phil's reactions are very similar to my own.

  • LOL the IQ difference between Mr Stephen Fry and the guy next to him is about 3000.

  • @StevieVaibanez I think that probably the same gap between Stephen Fry and EVERYONE ELSE!!!!

  • @MrTinman15

No, for most of us it's only about 2950 ;)

  • How does Steven Fry know so much

  • Is that blonde guy from Cage The Elephant?

  • lol it's like a nerd within a group of cool kids lol :)

  • I suspect not a word of this is true.

...I can just imagine turning Buzzcocks on to watch Simon and Stephen Fry going on and on about pretzels.

  • the hippity hoppity brigade and rectile vaginal insertion lol Stephen Fry what a guy

  • Stephen Fry is a fucking genius, i love him and am so jealous of his immense brain... but not about the manic depression =(

  • @doyly909 highly intelligent people often suffer from depression.. Intelligence is a gift and a burden at the sme time unfortunately.

  • A spectator sees more of the game, Hippity Hoppity Brigade... What I would give to manipulate the english language with the skill he has.

  • cage the elephant. yay.

  • Look, Dominic Cooper!

  • wow, what episode was this? I;ve never seen it.

Fry on Buzzcocks, two awesome things combined!

  • I love how cute Simon looks as he's trying to act smarter than Stephen.

  • Who the hell is the girl at 1:43? Must know, she's hot as hell.

  • Frankie Sandford :P

    And she is hot. :O

  • Yes blud, I'd bang her any day booiiiii.

  • i remember seeing this episode, shes in the saturdays

  • its frankie sandford from the saturdays, just incase you still wanted to know!

  • Stephen Fry for PM!! Come on you know it makes sense.

  • @ph0enixo8 A coalition between him and Simon Amstell!!

  • @ph0enixo8 shame he will not lower him self

  • Stephen Fry is incredible, there are simply no other words for a man of his standing...other than possibly a chap.

  • Spectator sees more of the game =)

  • STANDARD UNIFORM OF THE HIPPITY HOPPITY BRIGADE!!! ahaaa

  • hippity hoppity parade!! lol

  • How dare Simon Amstell try to beat Fry when it comes to useless trivia! :D

They're both brilliant, but Fry is just insane.

  • Stephen Fry should be on NMtB more often :D Bless him.

  • frig that he should have his own tv channel!

  • Matt's so cute. <3

  • Now people can stop debating over whether or not God is gay.

  • Hahaha <3

  • season 23 = no simon amstell!

  • what is the season number and episode number of this?

  • he said he'd adopt Josie Long and co. LUCKY CAAAW wish he was my pops ahha.

  • Stephen Fry knows all...apart from about people of the "Hippity Hoppity Brigade"

None the less he is a God among men.

  • Could you possibly upload the whole episode?

  • "Hippity Hoppity Brigade" is possibly the best phrase anyone in the history of the world has ever come up with. Ever.

If I ever become famous, that's what I'll call my first album or novel or movie or something

  • it could be your stage name too! ;D

  • Will you be wearing an 'obviously standard costume' of that particular 'Brigade'?

  • @muckseen I feel the same way , so you better hurry so i won't beat you 2 it

  • @muckseen that would be the coolest name for a band :)

  • @muckseen You know what you should call your second album/movie/novel/adopted Malaysian child? "Recto-vaginal insertion".

  • lols, this episode was funny. especially when they were making fun of dominick cooper for not being very famous, and then frankie sandford only then realized that he was "that guy from Mamma Mia." (or something along those lines)

  • gawd i wish he was presenting the next series

  • do you know when the next series will be out? i was really worried it had been cancelled.

  • Tonight ! BBC 2 lol

  • Stephen fry knows EVERYTHING, he IS GOD.

  • lol, simon is quick witted but taking on stephen fry simon wont stand a chance

  • how might i get the full episode i cant find it on youtube

  • It was on here but has been removed; not sure if it was youtube or the user who removed it...gutted

  • jeeze stephen is omniscient

  • Autocue ftw

  • I think Simon read the autocue wrong because if you look at wikipedia which is where I think Simon got the information (about the Bretzels too) it says "The largest pretzel of its time, weighing 40 pounds and measuring 5 feet across, is baked by Joseph Nacchio of the Federal Baking Company." LOL XD

  • The anguish of living outside the UK and having to sit around and wait until some compassionate charitable soul posts the whole damn thing.

It's freaking Stephen Fry with Simon Amstell in Never Mind the Buzzcocks - my worlds collide!

Now if only I could have Hugh Laurie playing Sherlock Holmes, my bliss would be complete... Oh, wait...

  • This episode was brilliantly hilarious. Stephen Fry, Simon Amstell, Phil Jupitus and Dominici Cooper together, I must have died andgone to heaven! I love when at one point the girl asks Stephen to adopt them all. That's so sweet! The seven of them would make such a glorious disfunctional family, looking at their ages:

    Mum & Dad: Stephen Fry - 51; Phil Jupitus - 46

    The kids: Dominic Cooper - 30; Simon Amstell - 28; Josie Long - 26; Matt Schultz - 20ish; Frankie Sandford - 19

  • I would pay good money to see that family in a sitcom :)

  • oh God this is AMAZING. Where is the whole episode *unfortunate non-UK person cannot wait*

  • YouTube........................

  • So funny I love Simon!

  • don't mock my Stephen !

  • Haven't seen this episode yet, but I'm sure all went well. Stephen, I'd imagine, can handle himself quite well, and Simon tends to be a bit less snarky with older guests, esp. if they are either Gay or Jewish--the episode w/ Christopher Biggins (sp?) is quite good if you haven't seen it. Can't wait for someone to post the whole thing...

  • Yes, he does pick his friends and enemies carefully, haha. He tends to respect "real" and intelligent people and slash the fake, overrated, self-important ones. Mark was just mean to everyone. Take Bill Bailey for instance — a constant target under Mark's reign, but I don't think Simon has ever picked on him. It's kind of sweet.
