ik this sounds wierd but if anyone knows why im haveing dreams that im in the war holding an m4 in my grand pas hand and shooting at people then wakeing up looking for the gun and im only 13
i started kindergarten when the first advisors were sent to vietnam. i grew up all threw school thinking that someday it would be my turn to go there. i graduated in 1974,the war was wound down by then.
I too was a child when this war was fought. My uncle came back from Vietnam with more than one scar. Every night Walter Cronkite told us how many servicemen died that day. I grew up terrified that I would be sent there to die. The war ended when I was just begining high school. To every man and women who have served, those of us who did not, owe gratitude beyond our ability to express.

My uncle was a Huey Pilot in vietnam. Was shot down in 68....
