  • Hi my name is Elder Mcqueen have been a youth pastor 17years and a youth coach 18 years in2008. I was National youth sports coach of the year in2008 NAYS). I use every tool God has blessed me with to help youth in any way I can. I really liked the video.I have Christain videos on youtube addressing many of youth issues. please type in some titles on youtube and make a comment.

1 Suicide is not the answer Gods peace plan is

2 you can do better than this Mcqueen122@aol.com

  • Here is the biggest help any youth pastor or pastor can take. Teach your people on Jesus Christ & The Holy Spirit and their lives will change forever.

  • @Skripmusic That is so True kids now a days need to know what was done for them on the cross and every thing in between if they know that the holy spirit is within then and they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them

  • Do you have another convention like this? cuz im handling the youth now, and i believe i still need more help to those who are experienced and have been with this ministry for a long time...Please include me in oyur prayers.God bless.

  • Hey Smash...If there is nothing to the "story" of Jesus, and it's just a big hoax, why do you get so offended by it?

  • so the kids are hurting and "searching"?

what is the answer? moralistic therapeutic deism? no.

the answer is the GOSPEL. Christ and him crucified once for all for the atonement of sin.

  • Yeah - tell the kids they were born imperfect, wicked, sinful, and abject. That oughta do wonders for them. Then tell them the silly story of a guy who walks on water and whose Jewish mother didn't have sex to conceive him. And don't forget the Hell part! Spiritual blackmail: Believe this or else!

  • no... let's HIDE the gospel from them so they DIE in their sins... and go to Hell. Yeah... good job there.

  • Or we could teach the TRUTH! That there is no evidence for the divinity of Jesus; that we are here because of Evolutionary processes; that they are not "created sick and commanded to be well". But then, how would you make your living if you had no children to lie to?

  • LOL. No evidence except what the writers of the New Testament recorded... a collection of documents collected within the first 100 years of his life... something that no other ancient historical figure can lay claim to.

furthermore... "make a living"? Friend... I do not get paid for any kind of ministry. it isn't about money anyway. it is about preaching the gospel that God uses the Word preached to save sinners.

  • Haha - you need to re-read my response. I said no evidence for the "divinity of Jesus." Quite a difference. And at any rate, nearly every Greco-Roman "messiah" had his followers claiming exactly what Jesus is said to have done.

I'm glad you don't earn you keep liying to kids. What does it mean to save sinners, anyway? Of what are we guilty, exactly? From what do we need salvation?

  • The evidence we have for Jesus' divinity is the writings of believers. We are certain the early church believed this and wrote down the words of Jesus accurately and relatively quickly after his death.

Of what are we guilty? Sin - the breaking of God's laws. Have you lied? - then you are a liar. Stolen? - a theif. Had lustful thoughts? - adulterer at heart. been unjustly angry? - murder at heart. We are guilty of breaking these laws and deserve what punishment the law demands - death.

  • "Accurately and relatively quickly"? You clearly have no understanding of Church history.

Death for our thoughts?! Worship something that demands that if you wish but for me, I'm very relieved that there isn't a SHRED of evidence that such a god exists. If the best plan your god could come up with is laid out in the bible, he is most certainly a pervert, a sadist, and a psycho.

  • @SmashTactics its ok we believe what we want to believe because it is true and we have faith and there is evidence such as healing , tongues( language of god and u only) and much more described in the bible Acts 11:14-17 im not here to debate but plant a seed dont take this the wrong way. god loves u and the bible says he will never leave us nor forsake us Especially in our time of need.

  • BUT... God, being rich in mercy, shows his love for us in this: while we were still sinners, he gave himself as a ransom for many! He offers freely the gift of forgiveness of sins. Because he paid our fine for us... he lived the perfect life we could not life, died the death we should have died, and rose again on the third day, conquering the power of death.

  • Platitudes, platitudes. He sacrificed Himself, to pay Himself, the price the price that He Himself demanded?! Somehow we are redeemed by somebody else being murdered? I don't think so. It is funny that your "sins" are just the natural part of being human - yet you think we need atonement for them.

Grow up, my friend. You are not a guilty, sinful human and neither are your parents, kids, etc. We have no need of a redeemer and the death of an innocent would be no way to go about it anyway.

  • @SmashTactics we do have a need for a redeemer because if Jesus didn't die on the cross for us as his father had planed we would all go to hell and there would be no need for life but god loved us and still is so that's y he sent Jesus to die for us and not only that but show us a way of living :) Jesus love all and because Jesus was perfect and the son of god is y he had authority to cleanse us of our sins

  • "Greco-Roman "Messiah"" The Greeks were either sophists or pantheonic, and had no messiahs, and the Romans were base moralists that adopted and altered the Greek pantheon. So aside from the lack of sound reasoning in your comments, you indicate a very lazy and uneducated counter-apologetic. Question: What is it in your psyche that leads you to post on a web page that is meant to bring hope to believers? Why are you not satisfied to allow hope to take root when and where it can?

  • Hope does not spring from lies. Christianity is 100% fraud from the pus bucket of bronze age ignorance.

  • @SmashTactics

    Jesus is a Hebrew/Jewish/Israeli messiah, not a Greco-Roman Messiah.

In fact, Israel was still a territory at the time of Jesus birth and did not gain recognition as a province of the Roman empire until later in Jesus' lifetime.

  • This is an amazing video and it's so true. And some of it just scratches the surface...

Who else walks along side the youth and offers help to parents? The sad thing is, it doesn't take a youth pastor to help...it just takes a person who's willing to pour into the lives of others in need.

    Great video Y.S.!
