  • You gotta be willing to seek Hiphop out. It's not offerred up on a platter. Solillaquists of Sound(w/Divinci playing 3 MPC's w/hands, face, feet!!!) Glue(w/Adeem)...they're out there...you gotta step outside the industry box and then step outside your own box and open your heart man!

  • @3DSpirit Word Up!!!

  • What happened to hip hop?

It was this, and it was fantastic...

Really. Where did they go wrong? They had this, and somehow they ended up with the bullshit we have today.

  • blame suburban white kids (im white, but i live in the city)

  • Dillrod90.... thats a really easy question there.... its the commercialising of hip hop that made music like this turn into crap music... its all about money now.... its the record labels and companies fault, they dont care if u rap about hoes, cars, money and killin people or murderin the president, bombin the white house and everyday life.... as long as their is money in it, its in their interest... and thats why it turned bad....

  • amen.. maybe is truth the conspiracy from the high statements by :the 'Anti-sampling Laws', the petitions to Hip Hop icons to make Hollywood crap films, excesive banalization of HH elements,,etc

  • MTV happen

  • Where's the great historical footage from?

  • I cannot believe that in the days of scientific exploration, people still think little fuckin chain letters or "Bob" actually do anything other than show dumb motherfuckers for dumb motherfuckers.

Have the name "BeautifulAmazingGuy" but if you post a chain letter you're a dick, pure and simple. Think of youtubes servers (lol fuck the servers, buy MOAR!!)

  • daaamn...bboying and afrika bambata for life!!

  • i love my years of growin up on hiphop

1980 at age 8 - SUGAR HILL first album "RAPPERS DELIGHT"

1984 at age 12 - THE PEAK OF THE BREAKIN ERA & RUN-DMC arrived

    1988 at age 17 - RAKIM, KOOL G.RAP, KANE, & KRS-1 was out

    1993 at age 21 - WUTANG arrived

1995 at age 24 - EAST & WEST COAST RAP was at its peak, & the NEWYORK club seen was HOT

    2003 at age 31 - G-UNIT & EMENEM was on FIRE

but now in 2008 at age 37, HIPHOP IS DEAD, but im fortunate to be young in its best years :)

  • You post this same damn message everywhere. Hip-Hop isn't dead, you just got too old. One day I'll be too old too. I'm still in my twenties now. I missed out on music like this when it was new, but I was raised on it and I remember the 90s as well. The music now is different for sure, but people in the 90s said the same things about music then that people say now. People said the same thing in the 80s. To each generation their own.

  • yeah,u right, i guess it is a cycle that all music genres go thru, i guess i gotta stop pickin on the younger generation and just let them do there thing, but i just cant stand the way this new rap sounds tho man, lol lol.

i have a 10 year old daughter who loves all that south type new rap style, & it drives me crazy, lol, i know i'm 37, but i still be teasing her about how that new rap she listens to is corney,& the rap music i came up was way better. then i make her listen 2 OLD SCKOOL, lol

  • I prefer old school rap most of the time, usually from about 2005 back. I do like some new hip hop, but it's rare for an artist to hold my attention. So far I've been sastified with T.I. and I love Young Jeezy, but in general I'm not a huge fan of "new rap". I miss when Lil Wayne was Lil Wayne, not "Weezy". I miss the Cash Money days lol.

  • dwells i agree Lil Wayne WAS GOOD now he is to hot headed and thinks he is that shit and no he isn't he is bad and he needs to just stop for the good of it.

  • lil wayne doesnt deserve to be even mentioned on this vid's comments

  • nevawrong its true today rap is bullshit anyone can make a song now..but songs like this is the best ones cause they dont tqalk about the same shit like today.

  • You but you have people like Kid Cudi, N*E*R*D, Timbaland, Andre 3000 that are still pretty good.

  • daaaaaaamn...

    I think I love this!

  • awesome

  • Love this song

  • Quality!

  • a mix of images?of videos great keep it real!
