  • Waving his hand in Phil's face then the blatent angle shot ? Very surpising to see Todd Brunson do this and has gone way down in my estimation .Laak is a class act ,I would ve really let him have it for that sh*t .

  • is that jennifer tilly standing right behind laak?

  • Haha people, Laak wasn't upset. Todd waving his hand in front of his face didn't piss him off, and neither did the fake call motion by Todd. Laak is a showman, and he was making a show out of the situation. He knew Brunson wasn't going to call him. He's the funniest man in poker!

  • The old HSP were the best!

  • Its not a humane thing to do. to put your hand in someone's face.

i'd be pissed off. Complete disrespect

  • Love the people on here hating on Todd 'todd is playing o nthe back of his fathers name'. Anybody who has read supersystem will know that Todd didn't even tell Doyle that he had started playing, He bankrolled himself and started off in the smaller stakes games. He is respected by many top cash players to be one of the best cash NLH players in the world. His tourney game sucks tho...

  • yeaaaaaa limp call pre with Q10hh was the first mistake of many

  • Was there any rulling after this or they just ignored it like it never happened?

  • fat boy

  • pokerview is open to us players as well

  • what trash

  • I love the poker face by Laak when Todd is waving, and he has every right to be angry about the forward motion. That is always a call in my opinion. Nice hand

  • fuck that fat ass piece of shit donkey.

  • @thenotorlousbig stfu idiot he has a record for winning the most money on a day , but also the record for losing most money

  • strokey as fuck

  • @danielthomas531 You should play @ foxwoods - thats good for the bad beat jackpot

  • Todd Brunson is a fat sack of shit. I hope he gets raped by a pack of niggers and gets SUPERAIDS.

  • @bannedagainfromutube

    superaids :D

  • on HSP todd was always bitching when he was stuck. He isn't a bad player or even a rude person from what ive seen but this was seriously out of line, if it was the other way around he wouldve bitched so much

  • Todd Brunson; what a dick. I dislike him even more now.

  • Definitely a call IMO. Most casinos in Vegas have a line on the felt to prevent problems like this.

  • "..this is not California, Phil." Nice defense Todd, you sound retarded.

  • 1:16 TITS !

  • fulltiltpoker will give you $600 bonus if use Referral COde: VNPOKER

  • Being a legend's son, Todd should know better.

  • they should just have the line around the table.. when the chips go past the line it is a call regardless of whether you are holding them or not

  • @superdave31 lol so when ur chips fall foward from u doing a count its a call?

  • @the3bigreddevils i think england poker works differently to usa poker. I see americans always pushing the chips in then counting. In uk poker you have to do it in one movement like move all the chips at once (or.. say what your bet is which is by far the easiest). but if they did that .. brunson wouldnt be able to pull that move off surely you agree!

  • @superdave31 usually in casinos their is a line and the dealer knows if your counting or betting so its not crazy

  • @sukacro0728

Rofl.. can we play soon my full tilt name is fencon5935 =]

    And yep

Full Tilt Poker just disclosed on their FB fan site that a new player should head to their web site, then make a account using the promo code SPECIALS.

One good way to get fast easy $ to play with. Your first deposit will be DOUBLED oh and a few other sexy perks. Sadly limited to the first few thousand players that create an account using it

  • laak was pretty polite for what todd did

  • what did the ruling say?

  • Its not the first time Todd Brunson pulled that move on this show, who knows how many other times he's tried that b.s. I hate his style and antics, and don't respect him as a player or person.

  • When a forward motion, sum1 could easily say sumthing like: ''You've got it.'' So it's definitely a call;)

  • Big fat fuckin cowboy and his feminine pussy his "This isn't california phil...."

    what a fuckin punk

  • relax Phil... Todd .. stop being a dick

  • @PhiIIvey Why is your Youtube name, someone else's real name? Weirdo.

  • Mike Matusow wasn't talking about Phil Laak not betting big on the river, but about Phil Hellmuth. It was the same season as the 7-2 vs K-K bluff.

And yeah, Todds move there was out of line in such high stakes and especially against someone like Phil Laak whos always a good guy. He basically "stole" the river money from Laak and got to see his cards as well. That's just lame.

  • Phil Laak can be very annoying with his useless babble, but Todd Brunson is the epitome of trailer trash, and is one pathetic loser.

  • @4thandinches mate.. hes the most entertaining player around

  • @reubenw59 Laak is still cool with me, as he seems to be a very intelligent guy. He was completely right in this instance about trailer trash Todd. I just get a little annoyed when Laak keeps babbling.

  • What was worse was Mike the Mouth saying he knows that Phil doesn't make big bet bluffs on the river. That is probably why Todd pulled back. He should not have been talking about the hand even if he were in the pot.

  • @terrapin52

He was talking about a previous hand with Phil Hellmuth.

  • Yeah, what's up with the Mouth basically hinting for Todd to fold by saying that?

  • @terrapin52 He was talking about Phil Hellmuth on a different hand. durrr

  • brunson is a dark horse in poker. He has his daddies skills and he is one mean Texan dude !!!

  • todd sucks. he acts like he won his money. hes been playing with his daDS money since birth and losing it as you can see.lol

  • @Nonniemayrox

he's actually considered one of the better live cash game players in the world...

  • why does salorio look like lindgren at times?

  • Todd Brunson is a fucking douche. The complete opposite of Doyle.

  • @NeRo84 LOL doyle is a dick to.

  • exaggerated -.-

  • Phil's right to be pissed off. Really distasteful of Todd to do that.

  • Comment removed

  • many people may think laak is a degenerate gambler but once phil gets into a comfortable style and more concentrated, he could be a great gambler.

  • laak is right

  • So what was the final ruling on that. Is Todd's little move there considered a call?

  • Brunson should not have mad that move in my casino that is a call

  • I doubt he would have done that if he was going to fold.

  • fuck the pope!

  • Definitely a call by Todd, very distasteful move.

  • Lot of morons here in the reply that didn't even notice that Todd made the forward-and-back motion, and then at 2:08 threw in the chips with his other hand anyway. You can hear the sound, see the display change from blank to 'call 10400' and then Phil says it was not a good call.

So I don't know why so many losers here say Phil lost money or how Todd never called. If you miss so many obvious details, you shouldn't be playing poker anyway.

  • No, he didn't throw in the chips with his other hand, he just played with them for about 4 more seconds, then finally called.

  • @girlie347

yeah thats what i was thinking, brunson actually did make the call. But what phil said made it sound like todd folded the hand.

  • but what brunson did is just as bad as slow rolling

  • that was pretty distasteful of Todd

  • idiot

  • cranky baby

  • 1.49 xD

  • ass :P

  • Comment removed

  • the ruling says that todd brunson will get a shot in the head for doing this

  • My next move is going to be the accidental raise. In a spot where i have the hand won and somebody bets into me, I'm gonna try to make it look like a call but accidently throw out too many chips. It will have to be ruled a minumum raise, and I'll get pissed that it was ruled that way. If I'm lucky, my opponent will raise me back and I'll get paaaaaiiiiiiiiid. Only in the casino of course. I would never pull that against my friends.

  • it wasn't ruled a call, what are you saying man...

  • the ruling was it was a call.

  • uhh u cut out the ruling???

  • So, what was the ruling?

  • Todd Brunson plays on the back of his father's name. Doyle is a true poker champion... Todd is a poker joke.

  • Todd Brunson is actually supposed to be a very talented Stud player... whether this is true or not I don't know, but this comment is 100% accurate, he is totally living off Doyle!

  • you have no clue what your are talking about obviously

  • That may be true in tournaments but in cash games iover the past few years nearly nobody has won more money than todd. he once won 14million off of andy beal.

  • @jsberson

let's see you become the best cash game player in the world. When was the last time you were on high stakes poker, or won 20 million dollars in a cash game? If he is a poker joke, then there is no word for what you are.

  • @jsberson Todd has over 3.4 million in tournament winnings and u say he's a joke?

  • Don't know the exact rules to be honest, but this doesn't strike me as particularly professional move by Brunson. Scrap that, he looks childish and totally out of line here.

    Isn't he?

  • laak does very well mainly

  • If u look closely u can see brunson throw the chips in right after he pulls his arm back... laak did get his money...

  • That wasn't cool, Todd.

  • why is it durrr allowed to do that and not brunson?

  • because they are friends DURRRR

  • That's why tables have an action line

  • "this is not california phil" - Todd

"I DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS!" - Laak

    ROFLLL

  • laak is a legend

  • I wonder that the dealer doesn't say anything... I'm a dealer too, and you GOT to know the rules and tell everybody when they make a mistake or not. The dealer is the master of the table... Even in a TV show. My opinion.

  • todd brunson likes to smell my dog's booty hole

  • 10k, man, he he definitely has a right to question this

  • what a dick. laak should punch him in the teeth

  • Where I play thats a call

  • ahahahah

  • Don't try that move in Atlantic City, Todd. You'll get your ass kicked in the parking garage.

  • @ramitupursnout Haha hell yea!

  • Absolute Garbage.

I wish I could see what the final ruling was...

It should be a call, he shouldn't get away with it.

  • that should of been a call IMO. Laak didn't really get upset he just wanted to know can't blame him either.

  • he called it.. he threw it.. watch todd's hands at 2:07.. he trows it in the pot.. thats why phil said btw its not a good call ..

todd's not a good poker player.. haha

  • phil hellmuth said good call thinking laak was bluffing, thats why phil laak said no its not a good call

  • Todd comes across as a real jerk, but why does Phil just turn his hand over? He lost his cool, and it may have cost him the real call. He should've waited till Todd made a decision, and then once Todd acted, he could make a fuss (or decide not to). He probably cost himself 10 thousand bucks there.

  • Todd called btw, thats why Phil turned his hand over.

  • todd called dude, watch the video again...

  • They wrote call on the screen, but I never see Todd put the chips in. It doesn't seem like he does...

  • he did. You dont see the chips but you see the hand

  • has to cross the betting line but i didn't see one, lol that's such an old trick the ol' bet or not

  • He did cross the betting line. In a few casinos, if he did that, it'd be automatically ruled a call. Phil was debating whether or not it's allowed to do that at the casino they were in.

  • Great move.

    Tilt-city.

  • I can understand Phil's frustration with that, they are playing...'high stakes', but I think the more universal rule in the poker world is when you bring your chips forward, as in towards the pot, you can still have your hands on them, but the minute you let go of the chips, it's a call/raise. I think personally it wasn't on the flip side of the coin, it is high stakes, and you should be able to use any possible strategy within the bounds of the rules, even if it means feigning a call.

  • no thats a string bet. wen u bet it has to be one fluid motion u cant stop or start/ pull back the bet after uve put ur chips forward. this is to prevent people from faking a call/bet then reading their opponents reaction (when their opponent thinks the hand is finished) and then changing their mind.

  • sorry meant like a string bet*

  • Yes, I know this, what I'm saying though is he never let's go of his chips, and a string bet involves chips going in first and then more coming in behind that were not a part of the initial bet. The difference here is Laak bet first, and Todd never put his chips in. He simply pretended to but never let go of them. It's a little amateurish for someone like Todd to be doing, but in most casinos, you haven't called/bet/raised until your betting hand(s) have released the chips.

  • There's no such thing as a string call. It was a faked call.

  • read my post again i never said it was a "String call" i said its wrong in the same sense a string bet is wrong. its an angle and won't play in a lot of casinos

  • todd brunson is a cock

  • lol at his shirt at 2:48 "heres johnny!"

  • Oh Todd, you sure don't have your Daddys Class.

  • that's for sure, but he's better than jamie gold at least.

  • Weak move Toddsky.

  • i beleive every poker table should have a line on it (like a lot do) and REGARDLESS of whether the chips are in the air or on the table (or anything else) - as soon as they cross that line, it is a call. That way..... problem solved.

(tho it is pretty funny todd tried this xD)

  • I bet Todd Brunson is the kind of evil, glutinous scum that abuses prostitutes too.

  • 1:59-2:03 evil todd brunson thinking

  • Regardless of whether they're in a casino that allows this crap...Laak should be allowed to take a stick with a nail and beat 10,000 worth of shit out of Brunson.

  • When money is involved, people's true character (or lack thereof) is exposed. Doyle Brunson is pure class when he's winning or losing. Todd, on the other hand, is white trash.

  • your a moron shithead fucker

  • i was reading phil laaks blog and he said he called casinos all over and that its 50/50 on the casinos that call it a call or not.

  • So what was the ruling?

  • i jus sht my pants

  • If you put your chips in like Brunson did it is a call, even without announcing it.

  • I've never seen Laak get angry like that. Brunson should be ashamed, that's as good as cheating in my opinion. Bad form.

  • thats why there needs to be international rules or standards sanctioning poker

  • That's some major BS. I had some respect for Todd Brunson before this, and it's all gone out the window. He should retire from professional poker and go into the hussling business if that's how he wants to f****ng play. What a piece of crap.

  • That was a call for sure, specially as there is no line on the felt and the chips were in the middle. Sneaky cheaty move.

  • angle shooter

  • tip the dealer if the they served you justice, dont tip based on a good read or play that you made.

  • Brunson family as a whole are pieces of shit.

Doyle thinks he is some god...when all he is is arrogant and Todd...thats a call you cheat!!

As for Phil, I can understand not tipping this hand, dealer should have called that a call. Also he does tip....I know this from dealing to him once in a 10,000 tournament.

  • i agree about Todd Brunson. i don't know enough about Doyle, beyond his contributions to the poker world, but the way he bitch slaps and outright disrespects Jamie Gold is always fun.

but Phil Laak is an awesome player with a big heart and a genuine personality, and in all the years i have watched him play, i have never seen him be an asshole to anyone who did not deserve it. in my local casinos, that would have been a call.

  • Wow. You sound like you got a chip on your shoulder. Pardon the Pun.

  • how do you become a dealer?

  • And I guess you know them both as you can make that statement.

  • so did he get that 10 gs off him?

  • thats a call

    fuck dat fat shit

any forward motion is a call

unless u tell the dealer your just gonna count your chips

  • "Fuck dat fat shit"

You were dropped on your head one too many times as a child weren't you.

Or you're a Rapper that is trying to play poker.

  • todd pwns

  • hes a homo. his missus got big tits. i could rub my face on them all day.

  • correktomundow

  • stfu, the dealer just got $5 for 3 minutes work. Not bad if you ask me. And just because he deals high stakes doesn mean he should tip more. He has earned that money and he doesn have to throw it away.

  • you say that on every single on of laak's videos
