my top 10 is very different. Babe Ruth corked his bat, so he's not up there. Stan the Man is at #10, Cy Young is #9, Pete Rose #8, Randy Johnson #7, Honus Wagner #6, Willie Mays #5, Walter Johnson #4, Lou Gehrig #3, Rogers Hornsby #2, Ted Williams #1. However, I do understand your choices. Not many people know of Ruth's cheating styles.
I RESPECT YOUR CHOICE , BUT I THINK ROBERTO CLEMENTE MUST BE IN THE TOP 20 , OTHER THAN THAT IS DISRESPECTFULL, ITS ALWAYS THE SAME I JUST ASK U TO LOOK AGAIN AND PLACE ROBERTO CLEMENTE WHERE HE DESERVE ,ANY WAY HIS LEGACY WILL LIVE FOREVER....
@descabronator you know....thats a tough one...becuase Roberto had one of the greatest arms of all time...and his legacy, as you mentioned...speaks for itself...but his numbers aside from his 3000 hits just aren't as eye opening as most the top 25 players....i probably will end up bumping him up in the new list that will include just hitters...but not even then can i see him being in the top 20...its close though...he will always be one of the most beloved baseball players of all time.
Great list! I only have one complaint. I know Bonds used steroids but still, the numbers he put up throughout his career were fantastic. Steroids or no steroids, Bonds belongs in the top 20.
@huskyjerk hahahaha, actually its a quite horrble list. im remaking it, because if feel i screwed up a lot. and yes, even though Honus was an accomplished shortstop, i do agree Jimmie is better.
@Joemcjoe7 I thought it was arguably a fine list, with the exception of the Foxx omission. There is nothing wrong with your list. WE all have our opinions.
@huskyjerk well for one thing Eddie Mathews was 80, thats just disrespectful. and Clemens, Rodriguez and Bonds shouldn't of even be on the list. Cy Young may have unbreakable records, but is very overrated. Lou Gherig should be second, and Frank Thomas should be in the top 50 at least.
Dude just to let you know the last photo of Mays was McCovey and sorry Willie Mays was better then every player listed. He is the greatest of all time. WHY? He hit 660 HR Played in Candlestick could hit for average had speed power you name it. Not only was he a 5 tool player he was the best in every area in baseball with every tool at the time. Willie Mays is the greatest. Thats my take on the matter lol.
@niksinthe916 Hahaha, your right xD, my bad, i was in a hurry making this video. Willie is a great player. A great OVERALL player unlike the Babe who had no speed and wasnt a great fielder in his later years. But Ruth could pitch and coined the Homerun, and baseball for that matter. His lagecy alone is enough to put him at number 1, let alone his 714 homeruns with a .340 average.
Babe Ruth is the #1 best baseball player ever. People forget that Babe was a pitcher for the first 5 1/2 years of his career. In fact he was one of the best pitchers of his era (holding the record for consecutive shutout innings in World Series). So he was a great pitcher and hitter in the majors, who else did that? If he would of played those first five years as a hitter he would of had an unbelievable 900 plus homeruns (using a low 40 hr avg), (50avg) maybe 1000. Don't forget hits,RBIs,etc.
@lazarochavez1 You're so right on its scary. People forget that not only was Ruth the best power hitter of all time, at the beginning of his career he was hands down the best pitcher in the league. Here is a guy who could pitch 9 straight shut out innings, and then on top of that hit three out of the park in that same game. Greatest baseball player of all time hands down.
one of the greatest lists ive seen yet, but i think hornsby should be high same with lou gehrig and wheres hank greeneberg and joe jackson? i sort of skipped through all the videos though so i might have missed them. roberto clemente shouldve atleat been 15 or so but otherwise awesome list and awesome websites! i use those a lot
you ask why cobb is in there?? Dude, he batted .366 lifetime, BEST EVER!!! And Hornsby won the Triple Crown Twice!! TWICE!!! And batted .424 once. My reasoning is all in videos.

Very nice list. However, I would place Jimmie Foxx over Honus Wagner. Check the stats of the two. I think you would agree.
