Dude I always do absentee ballots and mail it in. I always thought that would be a safer way. Some of the people I have seen working the polls in my area seem shady, like they would look see you voted for McCain and then throw out the vote right there on the spot. I really hope what Robert Jr is saying is not true.

I have seen the videos regarding the software used in the Florida elections, and that is scary too.

HAVA passed in the House 357-48 and 92-2 in the Senate. in 2000 there were 212 Dems in the House and it was 50/50 in the Senate (Reps took majority because of Cheney's tiebreaker). I don't know how the votes went, if all Reps voted for it, but there is no sane way they can be blamed for passing the legislation.

Our election system is so screwed up and it should be the most simple thing in the world if it wasn't for groups like ACORN and the FEC and the Tennessee BMV. ACORN registers people to the point of badgering them and having them register multiple times. The FEC makes running for office impossible for an average person. The states like Tennessee give illegals drivers licenses and this could interfere with voting.

All we should need is a piece of paper a pencil and a state ID or driver license.

Know the full scope of ACORN before you erect disinformation. A few canvassers ripped off ACORN by making up names and these names were flagged by ACORN before election officials saw them. Why did election official see them? Because ACORN marked them as suspect before submitting.
