Killington is confusting as hell, and icy...just like your trip...but it is alot of fun, and a first class resort.

i think its icy because of the place that the mountian is, i think the wind goes up the mountian on that side, blowing all the powder away and making it icy. Ive never had a good day there unless it was snowing
