Nice video, I used to fly from Bundaberg 30yrs ago now ! but fly in UK now. Used to be Microlights, just transferring to Motorgliders. Hervey Bay looks to have changed a lot too. Iv'e done some vids if you want a look at UK flying.

i wouldn´t like to be onboard when the pilot tried to show-off releasing his hands off the wing control at 8ft from the ground, one blink and u2 are dead.
i bet i could make one. just chop out a 4 cylinder from a junker, weld some aluminum into a frame, make a wing from some sheet metal and pipe cover it in garbage sacs and your ready to go. nice vid.
im from hervey bay and i fly the planes over to fraser island. microlights are a little out of my comfort zone but i bet they would be fun it they are your thing. sweet video, gives people the chance to see what we see nearly every day

Ye mate here in Scotland its great flying with half your bedding on plus other stuff, never mind the days when the weathers really nice{3 days a year} the scenery is awesome but your right give me Australia anyday of the week, would love yto back thier....Some more vids mate would be cool all the same so get some more up mate.

I must admit, flying a Cessna is definitely a lot more comfortable, but nothing beats the wind in your face sometimes. :)

heh, Hervey bay is a great place to fly around using a microlight. i normally see people flying around in them too.

Not sure of the licence / training cost exactly, but I'll bet its probably 40% cheaper than the UK :)
